Equipping both the AWM bolt-action sniper rifle and the P90 submachine gun gives you PUBG MOBILE's most lethal extreme-range and close-quarters weapon combination. To run this loadout effectively, use the P90 to clear close pushes within 30 meters, reserve the AWM for one-shot headshot eliminations past 150 meters, and strictly manage the scarce ammunition supplied by air drops.

Securing the Weapons

Both weapons are crate-exclusive drops. To assemble the pair, you must actively contest supply drops or high-risk event areas rather than relying on standard world loot:

  • Contest Themed Event Hubs Early: Drop into primary event locations, such as Ocean Odyssey water shrines and palaces on Erangel, to access high-tier weapon crates and flare guns early in the match.
  • Intercept Neutral Air Drops: Secure a fast vehicle like a Dacia or Coupe RB early so you can drive directly to supply crate drop paths. Always place smoke grenades around the crate before looting to block sniper sightlines.
  • Fire Flare Guns Mid-Game: If you locate a flare gun, hold it until Phase 3. Firing inside the safe zone calls in an armored crate, allowing you to secure whichever weapon you are missing while nearby squads focus on earlier zone movements.

Dominating Close Quarters with the P90

The crate-exclusive P90 arrives pre-equipped with an integrated silencer, laser sight, and a toggleable optic. Within 10 meters, hip-firing is faster and more accurate than aiming down sights with an assault rifle due to the built-in laser.

FeatureIn-Game FunctionCombat Application
Integrated OpticsToggle between red dot and 2xUse the red dot inside buildings; switch to the 2x when holding doorways and short courtyards
50-Round MagazineSustained automatic firePre-fire corners and handle multiple rushing opponents without stopping to reload
Built-in LaserTight hip-fire bullet spreadStrafe freely while hip-firing within 10 meters rather than aiming down sights
Low Recoil ProfilePredictable upward climbAim at upper chest level so natural recoil drives follow-up rounds directly into the head

The primary constraint of the P90 is its non-replenishable 5.7mm ammunition. World loot does not contain 5.7mm rounds. Take every round available when looting the crate, and avoid spraying at vehicles or distant cover so you preserve bullets for point-blank gunfights.

Landing Long-Range Headshots with the AWM

The AWM fires .300 Magnum rounds that knock or eliminate an enemy with a single headshot, even through a pristine Level 3 helmet.

  • Hold Static Peeks: Do not trade rapid body shots against moving enemies. Track your target until they stop to peek from cover, loot, or fire an assault rifle burst, then fire a single shot at the head.
  • Rely on High Velocity: Under 200 meters, the .300 Magnum round has minimal bullet drop compared to standard 7.62mm sniper rifles. Aim directly at the head without heavy upward compensation.
  • Conserve .300 Magnum Rounds: Air drops typically provide only 20 to 25 rounds of ammunition. Do not spend AWM shots finishing knocked opponents behind cover; use throwables or allow close teammates to secure the elimination.

The structural weakness of carrying both an AWM and a P90 is the 75- to 150-meter engagement gap. At this distance, the P90 suffers severe damage drop-off, while the AWM's slow bolt-action cycle leaves you vulnerable against opponents firing 5.56mm assault rifles.

Do not trade neutral sprays in this middle zone. Instead, force the fight into one of your two favored ranges:

  1. Close the distance under 30 meters: If pinned by mid-range rifle fire, throw smoke grenades to block line of sight, advance along natural terrain dips, and force an interior or close-range hip-fire engagement with the P90.
  2. Commit to single-shot lean peeks: If open ground prevents you from pushing, stay behind hard cover. Equip a 4x, 6x, or 8x scope on the AWM, lean out for a single aimed shot at the enemy's head, and immediately pull back behind cover between rounds.
