Keep moving around enemy groups and watch for a clear way out. River City Survivors puts combat in narrow map zones, so avoid backing into a confined area where enemies could close off your route.
Reposition before your route closes
As a wave approaches, move around the group rather than retreating without checking where you are headed. Keep enough distance to change direction, and do not let enemies collect on multiple sides of you.
If the route ahead narrows or the crowd starts to block your way, turn toward more open space before you get pinned. The key is to reposition while you still have room to move—not after the surrounding enemies have closed the gap.
