To beat Royal Kingdom Level 811 without starter boosters, prioritize matches near the bottom of the board during your opening turns to trigger cascades and break dense blockers. Once tile flow is established, spend the middle turns combining power-ups rather than detonating single specials, and finish the stage by generating Propellers to snipe isolated targets.
Turn Strategy by Stage Phase
Without pre-applied Rockets or TNT to open the layout on turn one, success depends on pacing your board management across three distinct phases.
| Phase | Primary Objective | Key Risk | Recommended Tactic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Opening (Turns 1–6) | Break initial blockers to establish tile flow | Trapping matches in isolated corners | Prioritize lower board contact points |
| Mid-Game (Turns 7–16) | Craft and fuse power-up combinations | Detonating single specials prematurely | Pair TNT and Rockets for wide clears |
| Late Game (Turns 17+) | Target isolated objective targets | Running out of moves on single stragglers | Deploy Propellers to snipe off-grid goals |
Opening Phase: Establishing Board Flow
Level 811 starts with heavy compartmentalization and tight blocker clusters that limit tile drops. Avoid making moves near the top of the board unless they directly hit an obstacle or form a special tile. Instead, evaluate the lowest possible rows:
- Target the center column: Opening central pathways allows new pieces to feed into adjacent lanes, increasing the likelihood of organic four- and five-tile alignments.
- Make vertical matches against obstacles: If no bottom-row matches are available, choose vertical matches over horizontal ones. Vertical swaps drop higher tiles straight down, frequently reshuffling the immediate area and creating secondary matches for free.
- Avoid dead moves: Any match that fails to hit a blocker, position a power-up, or clear an objective consumes a turn without providing board value.
Mid-Game: Assembling Special Combinations
Detonating single special tiles rarely provides enough clearing power on Level 811 to justify their move cost. A lone TNT or Rocket chips away only a small cluster of obstacles, whereas fusing two adjacent specials clears multiple lanes and quadrants at once.
- TNT + Rocket: Clears three complete horizontal rows and three complete vertical columns simultaneously, clearing dense blocker barriers across the center.
- Propeller + TNT: Carries an explosive blast directly to an active objective tile, bypassing awkward layout corners.
- Propeller + Rocket: Flies to a designated level objective while triggering a full-row or full-column wipe along its path.
- Light Ball + Rocket or TNT: Converts all matching colored tiles across the grid into the paired special, hitting peripheral blockers that cannot be reached directly.
If a special tile sits alone, spend one or two turns manipulating nearby tiles to bring a second special adjacent to it before detonating.
Endgame: Clearing Isolated Stragglers
The final turns of Level 811 often leave individual obstacles stranded on edges or behind remaining barriers. Shifting to broad board clears at this stage wastes moves.
Focus on creating Propellers in open central areas. Because Propellers automatically home in on remaining level requirements, they clear awkward perimeter goals without requiring direct match-3 alignments along the borders. Check your remaining move count before every swap to ensure each turn either builds an automated clear or directly removes a target.

Good guide for Royal Kingdom players. The early game part was useful.
I wish I had read this before upgrading the wrong thing.
Nice guide. I am checking the other Royal Kingdom articles next.
I tried this today and it worked better than my old setup.
