Prerequisites and Taming Setup

Before you can tame any wild monster, you must have housing ready.

• Monster Barn Requirement: You must build at least one Monster Barn on your farm. If you try to give items to a monster without an available barn slot, the creature will ignore your gifts entirely.
• Gift Inventory: Carry a variety of items when exploring. Monsters have different preferences; basic creatures may accept simple grass, while rarer species require specific crops or valuable items.
• Barn Upgrades: When your barn reaches maximum capacity, expand it through Arthur or the Order Symbol to house additional creatures.

Step-by-Step Taming Procedure

When you locate a creature you want to tame, clear out any other nearby enemies first so your attempt is not interrupted by attacks.

1. Equip the item you want to gift to your active slot.

Farm Chore Assignment and Maintenance

Tamed monsters inside your barn can handle daily farm tasks and yield crafting resources. Speak directly to a monster in its barn to assign chores or check its current status.

• Task Proficiency: Different species excel at specific duties, such as watering fields, harvesting mature crops, or clearing debris. Assign tasks based on what your farm currently needs.
• Daily Care: Use the Brush tool on your monsters every day. Brushing increases friendship levels, which directly improves their work speed, efficiency, and field coverage.
• Resource Quality: Creatures like cows and sheep produce materials such as milk and wool. Higher friendship levels increase both the quantity and tier of these materials for crafting.
• Neglect Warning: Monsters require regular attention. Neglected creatures will stop performing assigned farm work and can eventually leave your farm permanently.

Combat Usage and Party Management

In addition to farm work, tamed monsters can join your active party for dungeon exploration and boss fights.

• Party Recruitment: Speak to a tamed monster in your barn and invite it to accompany you on adventures.
• Leveling and Stats: Monsters earn experience points and level up alongside your character. Check a monster's status menu to monitor its health, defense, and attack stats.
• Team Composition: Balance your party by pairing support-oriented monsters with aggressive attackers or high-health tanks to withstand tough encounters in late-game dungeons. If a pet frequently faints in battle, return it to the farm to raise its friendship level or swap it for a higher-level creature.
