To survive high-density monster rooms in Shadow Dungeon, circle the perimeter of each room to kite enemies into tight groups before committing your main damage abilities. When entering a new room, move along the outer edges rather than charging straight into the center. This movement pulls melee mobs into a predictable trail and keeps your character away from walls where visual UI clutter or camera angles can obscure incoming attacks.

Keep these positioning practices in mind during engagements:

• Maintain an escape route: Avoid tight corners and wall dead-ends so elite packs cannot pin you down.
• Group enemy clusters: Force chasing mobs into tight packs to maximize the damage of your area-of-effect abilities.
• Anticipate action weight: Character movement and skill execution carry intentional animation weight, so plan your repositioning steps two to three seconds in advance.

Cooldown Rotation and Target Prioritization

Managing your skill bar effectively prevents panic situations when high-density waves close in. Save crowd-control and defensive skills strictly for emergency breaks when an elite mob blocks your path or forces a sudden reposition.

Follow this target hierarchy and skill flow to clear rooms efficiently:

1. Identify high-threat enemies: Locate support mobs that heal allies or ranged units casting distant projectiles.
2. Peel away to eliminate priority targets: Use hit-and-run passes to separate healers and ranged casters from the main melee pack before dealing with lower-tier fodder.
