To win team fights as a Shadow in Skylore Online Guild Tournaments, bypass the enemy frontline to eliminate fragile backline supports and ranged damage dealers. Never engage frontline tanks directly. Instead, wait for your tanks to draw enemy crowd control, approach unseen from wide flank routes, unleash your burst rotation during hard crowd control, and immediately retreat toward your allies to reset your cooldowns.

Guild Tournament Target Priority

Shadows excel at single-target burst against low-armor targets. Tunneling into high-armor Guardians wastes damage cooldowns and leaves you vulnerable to enemy crossfire.

If an enemy Priest receives an immunity shield or heavy protection from a Guardian, do not waste remaining abilities trying to punch through defensive buffs. Switch focus immediately to an exposed Hunter or Mage whose defensive skills have already been triggered.

Flank Timing and Opening Attack

Charging through the central arena lane exposes a Shadow to area-of-effect spells and tank crowd control before reaching a target. Use outer routes and delayed timing to secure clean entries.

  1. Hold position in stealth: At the start of a round, enter stealth and move along the outer perimeter of the arena. Use pillars and terrain obstacles to break lines of sight.
  2. Wait for frontline contact: Allow your team's Guardians to initiate the central clash. Wait until the opposing team commits primary control spells, pulls, and initial area-of-effect skills onto your tanks.
  3. Approach from behind sightlines: Move in behind the enemy backline while their attention is locked onto the central skirmish.
  4. Lock down the target: Open with your gap-closer and immediately chain hard crowd control to prevent the target from triggering self-heals, shields, or evasion buffs.
  5. Dump burst abilities: Front-load your highest-damage cooldowns during the initial stun window to force emergency consumables or score an elimination.

Disengaging and Managing Tank Peel

A Shadow's combat output drops sharply once major burst skills are spent. Staying in melee range to trade basic attacks usually results in quick elimination by opposing bruisers.

  • Save a mobility skill for escape: Do not spend every movement ability on offense. Keep at least one mobility dash or defensive break available to counter enemy peels.
  • Path toward your support line: When enemy Guardians turn to peel you off their backline, retreat diagonally toward your guild's Priest. This allows friendly healers to cleanse crowd control and restore your health.
  • Never retreat deeper into enemy territory: Fleeing behind enemy spawn points isolates you from friendly healing and allows roaming skirmishers to pick you off.
  • Reset between cooldown windows: Weave along the edges of the clash while your main abilities refresh. Re-enter the fight only when stealth or burst tools are available again.

Closing Out the Round

Once your squad secures an opening kill, avoid overextending into the remaining enemy cluster. Regroup with your team, allow stealth and movement cooldowns to recover, and collect any available arena buffs. Use your numerical advantage to collapse systematically alongside your frontline onto the surviving tanks and bruisers to finish the round.
