To unlock legitimate hidden and Legendary characters in Soul Knight, you must complete specific in-game tasks: repair the damaged machine in the workshop using the Engineer, finish 10 Task Board bounties for the Officer, or fully upgrade designated pairs of base heroes to forge Legendary catalysts at the Design Table. Rumored classes requiring death rituals, trap sacrifices, or file edits are hoaxes, while past event-exclusive crossover units are permanently out of circulation.

How to Unlock the Robot

The Robot is an authentic secret character located in the living room workshop near the motorcycle and trader. You do not need to buy the Engineer with real money to unlock it.

Required Materials

  • 20 Gears: Dropped by mechanical enemies, turrets, and chests in World 1 or disassembled at the Reset Furnace.
  • 20 Batteries: Dropped by mechanical enemies in the Alien Spaceship biome or robotic bosses such as C6H8O6 and Colossus ZULAN.
  • 1 Free Trial Voucher: Collected from daily Task Board challenges or green lobby chests if you do not own the Engineer.

Unlock Steps

  1. Collect 20 Gears and 20 Batteries in your storage chest.
  2. Select the Engineer. If you have not purchased him, consume a Free Trial Voucher to temporarily play him.
  3. Walk into the workshop on the right side of the lobby and interact with the pile of broken parts.
  4. Confirm the repair using the 20 Gears and 20 Batteries.

The Robot will permanently unlock on a pedestal in the living room, equipped with the Electric Overload skill and an innate laser buff.

How to Unlock the Officer

The Officer begins as a non-playable bounty coordinator in the living room and joins the playable roster through task progression rather than crafting materials.

  1. Approach the Task Board beside the Officer in the lobby.
  2. Accept and finish 10 total bounties, which involve hunting specific dungeon targets or completing runs with condition modifiers.
  3. After completing the tenth bounty, open your in-game mailbox to claim the veteran hunter achievement reward.
  4. The Officer will vacate his post and move to a playable character pedestal.

Unlocking the Officer grants access to his Peacekeeper weapon and Gun Spin skill. He is also a mandatory prerequisite for crafting the Special Forces Legendary Hero.

How to Forge Legendary Heroes

Legendary Heroes do not unlock through gems or direct drop blueprints. Instead, you must fully upgrade two specific base heroes to their maximum level to unlock their individual components, then combine them into a catalyst artifact at the Design Table.

Inter-Dimension TravelerPriest + NecromancerDimensional Guide

Maiden Run and Summon Meter Mechanics

  1. Maximize the two required heroes using gems.
  2. Go to the Design Table and forge the respective catalyst item.
  3. Carry the catalyst into a standard dungeon run. Your character immediately transforms into that Legendary Hero for the duration of the run.
  4. Once completed, a summon meter appears in the living room.
  5. Clearing regular dungeon runs with standard heroes refills this meter, allowing you to select and play the Legendary Hero periodically without spending additional crafting resources.

Discontinued Classes and Hoaxes

Do not spend gems, trial vouchers, or materials attempting to unlock rumored classes found in unofficial mod videos:

  • Lobby Ritual Hoaxes: No legitimate hero requires dying repeatedly on specific spikes, restarting runs at exact boss timers, or altering local save files. Valid heroes always link to achievements, workshop interactions, or Design Table recipes.
  • Retired Collaboration Units: Certain promotional crossover archetypes and seasonal test builds featured in older game versions have been permanently removed by developer ChillyRoom due to expired licensing windows. If an asset does not appear in the current character roster or crafting stations, the unlock trigger no longer exists in active game code.
