Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes GL Rey Tier 2 Event Guide

To clear Tier 2 of the Galactic Legend Rey event in Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes, you must eliminate the opposing Sith Trooper immediately using single-target attacks from Resistance Hero Finn and Resistance Hero Poe. Each attempt costs 30 Light Side event tickets, making failure costly. Survival depends on controlling turn meter, managing the Inspired buff, and preventing General Hux from locking down your duo.

Stat Benchmarks and Modding

Both units should be at least at their unlock prerequisite level of Relic 5. Meeting the speed benchmarks ensures you act before General Hux and Sith Trooper overwhelm your duo with bonus turns and Advantage.

Finn requires sufficient potency to land debuffs reliably, while Poe needs high physical offense to finish targets quickly with True Damage.

Target Priority and Combat Strategy

Because the encounter pits your two-unit squad against a full First Order team, split damage and early area-of-effect (AoE) abilities will cause a wipe. Follow this strict execution order:

1. Burst Down Sith Trooper First: Direct all initial single-target attacks into Sith Trooper. Do not use Poe's AoE attacks early in the battle. Damaging adjacent enemies or dropping their health triggers Sith Trooper's bonus turns and retaliatory AoE blasts.
2. Apply Daze and Buff Immunity: Use Resistance Hero Poe's debuffs to stop the enemy frontline from gaining bonus turn meter or taunting. Preventing a First Order Stormtrooper taunt keeps your damage focused entirely on Sith Trooper.
3. Dispel General Hux: After Sith Trooper falls, target General Hux immediately. Hux’s leadership prevents your team from gaining bonus turn meter whenever he has Advantage. Use basic attacks or dispel abilities to strip Advantage from Hux so your turn meter engine can function.
4. Clean Up Remaining Troopers: Once Sith Trooper and Hux are defeated, finish off the First Order Stormtrooper and remaining support units.

Managing Inspired and Ability Rotations

The duo’s survival relies on proper timing between Finn's turn meter swap and Poe's armor-ignoring damage.

Turn Meter Swapping

Resistance Hero Finn’s special ability, Strength in Numbers, rallies your duo, grants the Inspired status effect, and swaps 100% turn meter with Poe.

• Do not activate Strength in Numbers if Poe’s turn meter bar is already full.
• If Poe is ready to act naturally, use Finn’s basic attack or secondary skills first. Let Poe take his turn, then use Finn to swap turn meter and grant Poe an immediate second action.

Dedicated Shot Burst

When Resistance Hero Poe is Inspired, his special ability Dedicated Shot deals massive True Damage that ignores enemy armor. Reserve this attack for the highest-priority enemy currently targetable:

• Use it to finish Sith Trooper during the opening rotation.
• Direct it into General Hux once Sith Trooper is dead.

Cleansing Debuffs

Enemy First Order units apply Ability Block, Stun, and Tenacity Down. Prioritize Resistance Hero Finn’s cleanse via Spark of Resistance over raw damage whenever Poe is debuffed. Leaving Poe stunned breaks your Inspired chain and leaves both units unable to prevent incoming focus fire.

Failure Points to Avoid

• Firing Poe's AoE Early: Never open the encounter with Poe's group attack. Hitting multiple enemies scores unintended critical hits, instantly triggering Sith Trooper’s bonus attacks.
• Under-Modded Speed: If Hux or Sith Trooper takes consecutive turns before Finn or Poe can act, your units will often die before establishing the Inspired engine. If you fail an attempt, raise both characters' speeds above their recommended targets using 6-dot mods before spending another 30 tickets.
