Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes Low-Gear Padmé Unlock Guide

To unlock Padmé Amidala at five or six stars in the Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes Aggressive Negotiations event without high gear investments, use a Nute Gunray-led Separatist squad between Gear 8 and Gear 10. You must strictly avoid feeding bonus Protection Up, dispel General Kenobi’s taunt immediately, and eliminate Padmé before attacking the other Jedi.

Event Mechanics: Courage and Out-of-Turn Attacks

Low-gear attempts fail when players trigger out-of-turn attacks without securing an immediate kill.

Padmé’s unique leadership grants Galactic Republic allies bonus Protection Up whenever an enemy attacks out of turn. This Protection Up cannot be critically hit and prevents all debuffs. When that Protection Up expires or is refreshed, it converts into stacks of Courage. Each stack deals 8% of the target's maximum health as true damage on the ally's next attack. At low gear levels, a single basic attack loaded with Courage stacks will immediately defeat your characters.

To prevent team wipes:

• Do not call unnecessary team assists.
• Strip Protection Up with area-of-effect dispels before it converts into Courage.
• Keep Buff Immunity on General Kenobi to stop him from absorbing hits meant for Padmé.

Budget Squad Composition and Gear Requirements

A hybrid squad led by Nute Gunray provides turn meter manipulation, damage mitigation, and crowd control without requiring high gear levels or Zeta abilities.

Note: General Grievous droids are also eligible, but Grievous requires heavy relic investment to deal comparable damage, making him impractical for a budget unlock.

Modding and Stat Priorities

Because gear stats are low, your mods must meet specific utility thresholds:

• B2 Super Battle Droid: Mod for Potency (target 60% or higher) and Survivability (Health/Protection). Speed is not critical because Reactive Artillery grants frequent bonus turn meter when allies take damage. B2 must reliably stick Buff Immunity.
• Jango Fett: Mod for Offense or Critical Damage with a Speed primary arrow. He must hit hard enough to burst Padmé down once her bonus Protection Up is removed.
• Nute Gunray: Mod for high Speed and Health. Nute must take an early turn to spread Extortion, which slows the enemy opening barrage.
• Count Dooku: Mod for Speed and Potency to ensure Stuns land consistently on secondary enemies.

Tactical Kill Order

Follow this sequence strictly during Tiers 5 and 6:

1. Padmé Amidala: Dispel General Kenobi’s Taunt using B2 Super Battle Droid's Mow Down or Asajj Ventress's Strike Fear. Direct all single-target attacks from Jango Fett into Padmé. She must die first to disable the team-wide debuff immunity and bonus Protection Up mechanics.
2. Jedi Knight Anakin: Once Padmé falls, target Anakin immediately. His unique ability grants him bonus turns and heavy damage whenever an ally drops below 50% Health. Use Dooku to inflict Ability Block or Stun on him before finishing him with Jango.
3. The Healer/Reviver (Jedi Guardian/Consular): The generic Jedi unit can revive fallen allies. Eliminate this unit immediately after Anakin to prevent Padmé or Anakin from returning to the battle.
4. General Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano: Kenobi poses little offensive threat once his allies are gone. Control Ahsoka with Dooku’s Stun or Ability Block while whittling both units down with basic attacks.

Reset Conditions

Running Tier 6 at minimum gear carries high variance based on enemy opening targets. Restart the battle immediately if:

• Anakin or Kenobi defeats Jango Fett or Nute Gunray before your first turn.
• B2 Super Battle Droid fails to land Buff Immunity on General Kenobi on his first turn, allowing Kenobi to perpetually taunt while Padmé stacks Courage.
