To clear Stage 28-36 in StarSavior, switch from auto-battle to manual skill control, absorb heavy single-target hits with a dedicated tank, and reserve your primary offensive cooldowns to break the boss's timed shield phases before enrage damage overwhelms your party.

A standard formation of one tank, one primary healer or shielder, one offensive support, and one primary DPS provides the balance required to withstand the boss's cycling attacks.

Combat Strategy by Phase

The Stage 28-36 boss alternates between high-damage single-target attacks on the frontline, full-party area attacks, and barrier checks. Managing party resources around these mechanics prevents wipes.

1. Opening Setup

  • Use basic skills and low-cost attacks early to generate energy and action points.
  • Deploy defensive buffs and continuous healing before the boss initiates its first major area attack.
  • Save your main damage dealer's ultimate abilities rather than spending them on the boss's opening health pool.

2. Barrier Check

When the boss triggers its barrier, you must deplete the shield before the timer expires. Failing to break the shield triggers a wipe mechanic or grants the boss a massive attack buff.

  1. Apply Defense Down or vulnerability debuffs to the boss immediately.
  2. Trigger attack buffs and critical damage multipliers on your main DPS.
  3. Unleash stored DPS ultimates in sequence to shatter the barrier.
  4. Exploit the boss's vulnerable state following the shield break to deal unmitigated damage.

3. The 25% Enrage Burn

When the boss drops below 25% health, incoming damage scales continuously. At this threshold, stop holding cooldowns for defensive recovery:

  • Direct single-target shields or emergency heals specifically to units at risk of immediate defeat.
  • Commit all skill points and offensive abilities toward depleting the remaining 25% health before the boss cycles into another ultimate attack.

Speed Tuning and Turn Order

Improper turn order can cause buffs to expire or leave squishy units unprotected right before an attack:

  • Buffer/Debuffer: Should act first to strip enemy defenses and set damage multipliers before your damage dealer takes a turn.
  • Main DPS: Should move immediately after your offensive buffer to capitalize on active status effects.
  • Healer/Shielder: Should act either directly before the boss's high-damage threshold to place fresh shields, or directly after to cleanse debuffs and top off party health.

Troubleshooting Common Wipes

  • Backline units die to AoE: Replace offensive accessories on your supports with HP% or Defense% gear to survive baseline party-wide hits.
  • Shield breaks fail in time: Increase Effect Hit on your debuffer to prevent Defense Down resists, and avoid using high-cost burst skills in the turns immediately preceding a shield phase.
  • Tank dies to single-target hits: Remove hybrid offensive gear from your tank in favor of pure damage-mitigation sets, and raise your healer's Speed to ensure heals land between consecutive boss strikes.
