The FHS First Light aircraft carrier in State of Survival is not restricted to alliance rallies. Its passive combat stats and active tactical bombardments apply to solo attacks and settlement garrison defense as well as rallies you initiate. The only combat scenario where your carrier provides zero benefit is when you join another player's rally as a participant, because the game engine only applies the rally leader's equipped carrier.

Carrier Modes and Combat Availability

Carriers deliver two forms of combat power: passive command stats and active combat skills. Passive stats boost troop attack, defense, health, lethality, and march capacity whenever your carrier accompanies your troops or remains docked during a base defense. Active tactical skills trigger automatically during combat rounds.

Unless an individual skill specifically lists a rally leader requirement in its description, carrier skills trigger under standard combat conditions.

FHS First Light Combat Mechanics

The FHS First Light focuses on breaking defensive frontlines and sustaining damage across prolonged battle rounds:

  • Frontline Armor Penetration: The carrier applies debuffs directly to enemy Infantry, lowering their defense and health before your rear damage dealers face retaliation.
  • Turn-Interval Bombardments: Active strikes cycle on fixed combat turns, inflicting skill damage that ignores standard defensive thresholds.
  • Escalating Backline Output: First Light steadily scales the lethality of your Hunters and Riders as the fight progresses, accelerating damage against fortified bunkers and high-tier garrisons.

By dealing burst skill damage and stripping enemy frontline durability, First Light shortens overall battle length in high-tier skirmishes, reducing the wounded troop count sent to your hospital.

When to Deploy First Light

Deploy First Light based on whether you are fighting solo, defending your base, or leading a strike team:

  • Solo Marches and SVS Kill Events: Assign First Light to open-field battles and isolated targets. The carrier's personal lethality bonuses and bombardment cycles provide a distinct advantage when engaging opponents with equal hero tiers and chief gear.
  • Alliance Rally Leadership: When calling a rally against Capital facilities, alliance towers, or heavily reinforced settlements, First Light projects its stats and debuffs across the entire joined march. Its ability to melt enemy Infantry walls allows combined Hunter forces to quickly breach defending garrisons.
  • Settlement Defense: Keep First Light assigned to your primary hangar dock when not actively marching. If an enemy attacks your settlement, the docked carrier immediately fires retaliation bombardments from the opening round and applies passive defensive buffs to reduce incoming Rider damage.

To optimize upgrade resources, prioritize universal skills before investing in rally-specific bonuses:

  1. Direct Attack, Lethality, and Bombardment Skills: Upgrade these core offensive skills first. They trigger across solo attacks, base defense, and rallies alike.
  2. Hunter and Rider Damage Scaling: Increase these scalers next to speed up frontline clears during extended fights.
  3. Rally Capacity and Group Auras: Leave rally-exclusive enhancements for secondary upgrades after your base combat skills are established.
