To recover after getting zeroed in State of Survival, immediately activate a Peace Flare, put out your settlement wall fire, heal your hospital casualties in small batches using Alliance Helps, and reclaim overflow losses through the Enlistment Office.
Losing your standing army reduces your visible Battle Power, but it does not destroy your underlying account progression. Following the proper recovery sequence restores your operational troop count while conserving speedups and Biocaps.
Step 1: Secure the Settlement
Take these steps immediately to stop ongoing losses and protect your location:
- Activate a Peace Flare: Use an 8-hour or 24-hour shield right away. This blocks follow-up attacks, stops enemy rallies, and prevents scouts from looting unprotected resources.
- Extinguish the wall fire: When attackers defeat your base defense, your barricade begins burning. If wall durability drops to zero, the game forces a random relocation across the map. Putting out the fire stops durability loss and keeps your base at its current hive coordinates.
- Review the battle mailbox: Check your defense reports to confirm total troop losses, hospital counts, and plundered resources.
- Request alliance resource aid: Ask alliance members for food and wood convoys if your open stores were looted below the amount required to start hospital queues.
Step 2: Clear the Hospital with Alliance Batch Healing
Do not spend speedups to heal your entire hospital roster in a single queue. Instead, heal your wounded units in small batches designed around your alliance's active help capacity.
Each Alliance Help removes either a flat 1% of the remaining queue or a guaranteed minimum duration. If your alliance provides 25 to 30 helps, submitting a queue that takes 30 to 45 minutes allows active alliance members to finish it almost instantly without consuming personal healing speedups.
| Healing Method | Speedup Cost | Efficiency | Recommended Context |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alliance Batch Heal | None to minimal | Highest | Standard post-zero settlement rebuilding |
| Overnight Full Queue | None | Moderate | Idle passive healing while logged out |
| All-in Bulk Heal | Extremely high | Lowest | Timed combat events such as State Warfare (SvS) |
Save dedicated speedup items for competitive scoring phases. For routine rebuilding, queue short batches of infantry, riders, and hunters while alliance members are online to clear your hospital beds systematically.
Step 3: Reclaim Troops via the Enlistment Office
Troops that exceed your Hospital capacity are sent to the Enlistment Office rather than being permanently wiped.
- Resource requirements: Enlisted soldiers do not require standard training speedups or raw building resources to recover.
- Loyalty Tags: Completing daily missions, claiming daily activity chests, and contributing alliance donations generates Loyalty Tags.
- Return rate: Accumulated tags and passive enlistment over time return these recruits directly to your active roster without spending Biocaps.
Check the Enlistment Office daily and complete standard tasks to steadily restore your overflowed army.
Retained Stats and Future Defense
A zeroed settlement loses only loose resources above the Warehouse protection cap and active troops. All core progression investments remain fully intact:
- Chief Gear and Badges: Permanent offensive and defensive stat multipliers never reset.
- Hero Levels and Ranks: Hero upgrades, skills, and gear remain locked to your account.
- Institute Research: Completed development, battle, and economic tech trees are permanent.
- Behemoth Upgrades: Offensive and defensive mechanical bonuses stay fully functional.
Because combat strength depends heavily on permanent stats rather than raw troop volume, retraining a standard march capacity allows you to return to active combat quickly. To avoid future zeroing events during Kill Events or cross-state warfare, keep Peace Flares active, store excess resource crates in your backpack until needed, and shelter remaining marches in allied shielded settlements or the Alliance Blast Shelter before going offline.
