To progress efficiently in Summoners War, build a stable PvE foundation before investing in specialized PvP units or chasing rare summons. Your immediate goal is fusing key support monsters, assembling farmable utility units, and establishing an auto-battle team for Giant’s Keep. Spreading resources across too many monsters stalls account growth, so concentrate on one unit at a time until your core dungeon team is functional.

Core PvE Progression Order

Cairos Dungeon provides the runes required to survive and clear all other game modes. Giant's Keep is the mandatory starting point because Swift, Despair, Fatal, and Blade sets supply the essential speed, offensive power, and utility stats needed across early progression.

Do not branch into Dragon's Lair or Necropolis until your team consistently clears Giant's Keep B10 and begins transitioning into Abyss stages. Progress through core PvE content in the following sequence:

1. Giant's Keep: Farm Swift, Despair, Fatal, and Blade runes to establish baseline stats.
2. Trial of Ascension (ToA Normal 100): Clear monthly stages for Devilmons and summoning currencies.
3. Dragon’s Lair and Necropolis: Acquire specialized Violent, Revenge, Will, Rage, and Vampire sets once your supports meet speed and survivability thresholds.
4. Rift Beasts and Rift Raid: Farm grindstones, gems, and materials for Homunculus crafting.

Essential Early Monsters to Build

Guaranteed fusion units and farmable supports provide reliable counters to early dungeon mechanics. Prioritize these units over random nat-5 pulls.

Key Fusion Units

• Dark Ifrit (Veromos): Fuse Veromos first. His passive, Supercharge, removes harmful effects from allies every turn and heals him, which counters the defense breaks in Giant's Keep and Trial of Ascension. He also grants a 33% HP leader skill in dungeons.
• Water Phoenix (Sigmarus): Fuse Sigmarus after Veromos. Sigmarus brings enemy max-HP scaling damage and an area-of-effect Attack Break that improves both boss clear speeds and team safety.

Farmable Support Staples

Acquire these support monsters through Secret Dungeons and the Ancient Coin shop:

• Light Cow Girl (Loren): Reduces enemy attack bars, applies Defense Break on basic attacks, and strips enemy buffs.
• Light Fairy Queen (Fran): Provides Attack buffs, team cleansing, and multi-turn Immunity.
• Light Inugami (Belladeon): Provides an alternative Defense Break, an enemy buff strip, and an emergency heal paired with an attack bar boost.

• Spend Crystals on Energy: Avoid purchasing 750-Crystal Premium Summon Packs. Use your Crystals primarily for Energy refreshes to farm Cairos Dungeons and secret dungeon materials.
• Conserve Devilmons: Devilmons are time-gated skill-up resources. Never use them on 3-star or 4-star monsters. Feed them exclusively to core nat-5 fusion units—starting with Veromos and Sigmarus until their skill cooldowns are reduced—before saving them for high-impact nat-5 summons.
• Stay Out of Early PvP: World Arena (RTA) requires deep rune inventories featuring high Speed substats and specialized monster boxes. Avoid spending time or energy on competitive PvP until your PvE farming teams run automatically and reliably.
