High enemy damage scaling in Nightmare tier makes surviving incoming attacks far more critical than clearing stages quickly.

Defensive Build and Composition Changes

Enemies in Nightmare stages deal high burst damage that easily eliminates glass-cannon builds and fragile frontline units. If your team dies before cycling defensive cooldowns, adjust your setup:

• Prioritize Mitigation Gear: Equip frontline units with gear affixes focused on damage reduction and health regeneration rather than offensive stats.
