To advance through stages 1 to 20 in Ticket Hero, concentrate your upgrade tickets on two or three high-damage hero units, hold major ability cooldowns for boss appearances, and actively tap the screen whenever wave timers run short.

Upgrading Core Units to Prevent Progression Walls

Spreading your upgrade tickets evenly across your full squad slows overall campaign progress. Instead, direct your earned tickets and experience points into two or three high-damage units. Raising their base attack stats creates a primary damage carry that clears enemy waves faster, which raises your ticket earnings per minute.

Monitor your clear speed on each wave. If your heroes fail to defeat enemies before the stage timer expires, stop pushing forward. Replay cleared preceding stages to accumulate resources, invest those gains into attack power, and resume pushing only when your damage is high enough to clear waves comfortably.

Timing Abilities During Boss Encounters

While standard enemy waves can clear automatically, boss fights require active ability management. Save high-impact burst and area-of-effect (AoE) skills until the boss appears so you can strike both the boss and supporting minions at the same time.

• Interrupting heavy attacks: Watch for boss telegraph animations and trigger crowd-control abilities to interrupt charged attacks.
• Mitigating damage: Activate defensive shields or healing abilities right before unavoidable boss skills land to protect your heroes.
• Clearing adds: Use AoE abilities as soon as minions spawn alongside the boss to prevent your primary damage dealers from retargeting secondary units.

Combining Active Tapping and Passive Clearing

Active tapping adds extra damage to supplement hero attacks during tough wave timers and boss fights. Use tapping to overcome stage walls, particularly in the scaling difficulty between stages 10 and 20.

Once team performance stabilizes on a cleared stage, transition back to passive idle clearing to gather resources. Check your squad's health every five stages. If hero health drops below 50% during standard waves, spend your next tickets on defensive stat upgrades or add a utility-focused hero to preserve your campaign run.
