To earn a 3-star rating on Level 21 of Tiny War: Kingdom Defense, you must prevent all enemy units from reaching the exit and damaging your base. Achieve this by concentrating high-damage towers at key choke points, maximizing existing tower upgrades before building new structures, and actively micro-managing your hero to intercept any units that leak past your front line.

Tower Placement and Resource Allocation

Level 21 funnels enemies through narrow corridors in the center and lower pathways. Building your strongest defenses near the bends of these main paths keeps enemy units inside your towers' range for the maximum possible duration.

Rather than spreading low-level structures across the entire map, invest your gold into upgrading a few core towers. Fully upgraded towers deliver far higher damage output than multiple un-upgraded structures.

Follow this spending sequence during the stage:

  1. Initial Wave: Spend starting gold on two high-damage towers placed directly near the main path entrance.
  2. Mid-Game Waves: Upgrade these starting towers to Level 2 and Level 3 before placing any additional structures on the map.
  3. Late Waves: Once your core towers reach maximum level, spend remaining gold on support towers or slowing traps along the path to counter high-speed units.

Hero Movement and Wave Counters

Your hero acts as a mobile defensive barrier that covers gaps in your tower fire line. Position your hero strategically based on the active threat level:

  • Lane Entrance: Keep your hero near the entrance of the primary active lane during early waves to stall incoming mobs inside your towers' fire zones.
  • Secondary Cluster: If enemy density threatens to break your front line, pull your hero back to your secondary tower cluster to block escaping units.
  • Ability Cooldowns: Save your hero's special ability cooldowns for dense swarms or high-health vanguards rather than spending them on scattered single targets.

Adapting to Wave Compositions

Level 21 shifts enemy types between early fast-moving swarms and late high-armor targets:

  • Early Light Swarms: Maintain wide area-of-effect or splash coverage across the full width of the path to prevent fast units from trickling past unhit.
  • Late Armored Units & Bosses: Shift gold priority toward armor-penetrating or piercing damage upgrades. When final high-durability units arrive, keep your hero dedicated to catching any single unit that leaks toward the base exit.
