To identify your pull results immediately in Trickcal: Chibi Go, look at the color of the glow during the recruitment sequence: a rainbow burst confirms a 3-star Apostle, gold indicates a 2-star Apostle, and white or silver signals a standard 1-star drop. If you are rerolling and do not see rainbow effects in the opening animation, use the skip button immediately to reset your run without waiting for individual card reveals.

Summon Animation Rarity Cues

Recruitment effects signal the highest rarity obtained in a pull before individual envelopes are opened.

The Recruitment Sequence

When initiating a single pull or a ten-pull batch, the recruitment machine displays three consecutive phases:

  1. Initiation: The apparatus activates with gear rotations and steam. Subdued mechanical movement signals baseline rarity, while accelerated gear spins and brighter illumination indicate a high-tier unit.
  2. Mechanical Processing: The machine channels energy according to the highest-rarity item in the batch. An intense burst of light from the output hatch confirms an elevated outcome.
  3. Dispersal: Envelopes dispense onto the screen, carrying individual aura colors matching their specific rarity tier.

Mid-Pull Upgrades and Fake-Outs

Recruitment animations do not always reflect the final rarity right away. The game includes upgrade transitions where an envelope changes tier during the unsealing phase.

An upgrade typically begins with an envelope showing a golden 2-star aura. During the opening sequence, the seal can crackle with energy and fracture into a rainbow burst, revealing a 3-star Apostle instead. Sudden screen tremors, intensifying particle halos, or audio pitch shifts right before the card flips outward signal that an upgrade has occurred.

Ten-Pull Spreads and Skip Optimization

Multi-pull batches display visual effects based on the single highest-rarity Apostle in the group:

  • Initial Cutscene: If a ten-pull contains nine 1-star units and one 3-star unit, the opening machine animation plays the full rainbow sequence.
  • Batch Overview: After the opening cutscene, all ten envelopes appear on screen simultaneously. Each parcel retains its individual glow, allowing you to see the exact positions of all 1-star, 2-star, and 3-star recruits before opening them.
  • Multiple Top Tiers: If you pull more than one 3-star unit, each corresponding envelope displays its own rainbow halo on the overview screen.

When to Skip

The in-game Skip button bypasses cutscenes and routes straight to the final summary screen.

  • When Rerolling: Watch only the first two seconds of the machine cycle. If the apparatus shows standard white or gold lighting with no rainbow flash, tap Skip immediately to save time. Keep in mind that skipping instantly bypasses mid-pull upgrade animations, though the upgraded unit will still be credited to your results.
  • Standard Pulling: Let the animation play out if you want to watch for fake-out transitions or view character reveal sequences manually.
