To dance in Vampir, open the social emote menu from your main interface while standing in a non-combat zone and select a dance animation. The animation loops continuously until you cancel it by moving your character or casting an active skill.

Accessing and Canceling Dance Animations

Social emotes operate separately from your active ability bar. You can trigger and manage them through the default user interface:

  1. Open the Social Menu: Click the social tab on the main menu interface. Make sure your character is in a designated non-combat zone, such as a capital city or guild hall.
  2. Select the Emote: Locate the emote list and choose your desired dance animation to start the movement loop.
  3. Interrupt the Loop: Press any movement direction or trigger a combat skill to exit the animation and regain standard control.

Emote Mechanics and Limitations

While dance animations offer a cosmetic way to interact with other players during downtime, they feature strict gameplay limitations:

  • No Combat Buffs: Emotes are purely cosmetic. They provide zero stat boosts, passive buffs, or resource regeneration.
  • Combat Vulnerability: Starting a dance locks your character into an animation loop that requires a short recovery window before you can attack or defend. Avoid using emotes during boss encounters or active PvP battles.
  • Visual Clipping: Certain gear sets and character models may clip visually during complex dance routines. This overlap is a cosmetic issue and does not affect game performance or combat stats.
