The source title announces a new Follower system for Vampir and says the Japanese server is set to launch on the 22nd. It does not specify the month or year, or explain how the system works.
Before setting aside resources or changing your progression plans, check a dated announcement for your server. The supplied material does not establish any Follower requirements, costs, bonuses, or preparation steps.
