In Wartune Ultra, Knights can land three Delphic Destroyer strikes against the World Boss before the lethal enrage wipe by buffering an opening double attack and bridging resource gaps with a Rage Rune. Because the World Boss fight operates on a fixed turn limit that ends in an unblockable party wipe, compressing your actions within the animation buffer is mandatory to cycle your highest-multiplier Delphic skills in time.

Prerequisites and Skill Bar Configuration

To complete all three Delphic casts, your Knight must generate enough Rage on precise turns without wasting animation frames on multi-hit abilities.

Ability / ItemRole in RotationRequirement
SlashPrimary builder for the opening double attackLow animation latency
Delphic DestroyerMain damage dealer for all three burst windowsHigh skill level; 80 Rage baseline (or talent-reduced)
Ultimate SlasherSituational fillerUsed only if Rage caps prematurely
Rage RuneInstant resource bridge before the second DelphicEquipped in primary rune slot

Equip passive talents that boost starting Rage and award extra Rage on critical hits. Do not equip intermediate attack skills with extended, multi-hit animations, as long visual sequences consume the combat frames needed to finish your third Delphic cast before the boss executes its wipe.

Step-by-Step World Boss Rotation

Buffer each command during your character model's attack recovery frames rather than waiting for floating damage numbers to appear.

  1. Queue the Double Attack Opener: Target the World Boss and activate Slash. As your Knight steps forward to strike, immediately queue a second attack before your character steps backward into neutral stance. Landing two quick strikes alongside the boss's first incoming attack quickly fills your Rage gauge.
  2. Cast the First Delphic Destroyer: Buffer Delphic Destroyer as soon as your Rage meets the threshold during your recovery from the second strike. Queue it while the boss completes its first attack animation to ensure an immediate hit.
  3. Use a Filler Strike and the Rage Rune: With your Rage emptied, trigger Slash or a fast single-hit filler. During the impact frames of this strike, press your Rage Rune. The rune refund, combined with attack gains and the boss's second direct hit, refills your Rage.
  4. Cast the Second Delphic Destroyer: Immediately queue Delphic Destroyer. The Rage Rune bypasses the need for an extra auto-attack turn, keeping your rotation ahead of the boss's enrage timer.
  5. Buffer the Pseudo Third Delphic: As the boss winds up its lethal enrage sweep, queue Delphic Destroyer using the residual Rage generated from passive talents and combat hits. If queued during the pre-enrage cast window, your Knight completes the cast animation and registers full damage before the server applies the fatal hit.

Troubleshooting Rotation Failures

If your Knight dies before completing the sequence, check for these common timing and resource issues:

  • Third Delphic Gets Interrupted: Your Knight begins the cast animation, but the boss wipes the team before damage registers. This occurs when the opening double attack was queued too late or an intermediate ability had too long of an animation. Tighten the opener by buffering the second Slash earlier in the first swing's recovery frames.
  • Rage Starvation on Beat Four or Five: You lack the Rage needed to trigger Delphic Destroyer on schedule. This happens when the Rage Rune is triggered late or lacks sufficient upgrade levels. Trigger the Rage Rune simultaneously with your filler strike recovery so both resource gains register in the same combat action.
