To hold your settlement against incoming State vs. State (SvS) alliance rallies in Whiteout Survival, fill your Embassy to capacity with high-tier allied reinforcements, deploy survivability-focused wall heroes, and clear wounded troops in small batches before each march impacts. Defending generates favorable casualty trades only when your frontline absorbs incoming damage without overflowing your Infirmary.

Garrison Hero Setup and Defensive Buffs

Station wall heroes whose skills increase troop health and damage mitigation rather than attack power. Attack-focused heroes offer minimal value during sustained defensive stands.

Before hostile rallies land, activate your defensive enhancements:

  1. Use 12-hour or 24-hour City Defense and Attack boost items from your inventory or the diamond shop.
  2. Trigger relevant defensive Chief Orders and pet skills.
  3. Prioritize gear and stat boosts that maximize Infantry Health and Infantry Defense, ensuring your frontline survives long enough for backline units to deal damage.

Alliance Reinforcement Requirements

A solo garrison cannot survive multi-rally assaults without immediate allied backing. Coordinate with your alliance to fill your Embassy before enemy march timers expire.

  • Accept high tiers only: Require alliance members to send only Tier 9 through Tier 11 troops, depending on your server's current generation. Low-tier units take up Embassy capacity while dying quickly and feeding battle points to the attacker.
  • Stack Infantry: Request an infantry-heavy ratio (50% to 60% of reinforcement marches), supplemented by Marksmen and Lancers. Hostile rallies rely on high-lethality backline units that fold your defense if your frontline falls.
  • Stage standby marches: Position secondary reinforcement marches directly outside your settlement borders. When an impact depletes garrison numbers, these marches can enter immediately to restore capacity before the next wave arrives.

Managing the Infirmary with Batch Healing

Hospital overflow permanently kills excess wounded troops once your Infirmary reaches maximum capacity. To prevent overflow during consecutive rallies, cycle your healing queue between impacts rather than waiting for an entire hospital roster to heal at once.

  1. Open the Infirmary immediately after a rally hits.
  2. Select a small batch of wounded troops that requires 20 to 30 minutes of heal time.
  3. Start the heal and request Alliance Help so active teammates clear the timer instantly without using speedups.
  4. Repeat this batch process continuously to return Infantry back to active duty.
  5. If enemy rallies are timed seconds apart, use small speedup items to clear the remaining hospital beds completely right before the next march lands.

When to Bubble

Defensive attrition works only when you can sustain the stat exchange. Inspect the enemy rally lead's stats, gear tier, and hero generation before choosing to absorb a hit.

Activate an eight-hour Peace Shield immediately if:

  • Multiple rallies are coordinated to hit within the same second.
  • Reinforcements cannot reach your settlement in time to fill your Embassy.
  • Your Infirmary reaches critical capacity and speedups are exhausted.
  • The incoming rally lead has an overwhelming stat advantage that will shatter your frontline on first contact.

Shielding forces the hostile state to waste march stamina and rally speedups on an aborted hit, preserving your troop count and locking in your alliance's point advantage.
