To win the Sunfire Castle during State vs. State (SvS) warfare in Whiteout Survival, your alliance must secure at least two to three outer Turrets, rotate fresh garrison captains between enemy rally impacts, and heal wounded troops in small batches to prevent hospital overflow. Victory goes to the state that maintains continuous occupation or accumulates the most occupation time before the battle window expires.

Secure Outer Turrets Before Committing to the Castle

Four defensive Turrets encircle the Sunfire Castle, and leaving them in enemy hands makes holding the center impossible. Turrets periodically fire artillery bombardments directly into the castle garrison. If the opposing state holds all four turrets, their combined strikes will quickly wipe your central defenders regardless of defensive stats.

Divide your alliance into dedicated strike teams rather than sending every march directly to the center:

Target StructureStrategic PriorityPrimary FunctionReinforcement Requirement
Sunfire CastleHighestEarns occupation time toward state victoryCommanded by your strongest defensive rally lead
Turrets 1 & 2HighSuppress direct artillery strikes against the castleConstant defensive holding to block crossfire
Turrets 3 & 4ModerateDisrupt enemy rally routes and divide their forcesRapid turnover teams to contest enemy control

Controlling at least two to three turrets minimizes incoming damage to manageable levels. Capturing a hostile turret also resets its firing cycle, buying time for the central garrison to reinforce.

Rotate Garrison Captains and Time Reinforcements

The defensive bonuses applied to the Sunfire Castle depend on the primary garrison captain holding the structure. When consecutive enemy rallies land, defender numbers drop and the surviving squads lose combat efficiency. Manually swapping leadership keeps maximum defensive buffs active.

Execute garrison rotations using this sequence:

  1. Track enemy march timers: Monitor the alliance warfare screen to see the exact impact seconds for incoming enemy double or triple rallies.
  2. Send a replacement captain: Have a fresh rally leader march to the Castle so they arrive right before or immediately after the enemy impact.
  3. Withdraw wounded squads: Instruct severely damaged players to recall their troops immediately after an impact to free up capacity.
  4. Refill the garrison pool: Have alliance fillers dispatch requested troop types to bring the garrison back to 100% capacity before the next hostile march hits.

Synchronize Offensive Rallies in Tight Windows

Breaking a fortified enemy garrison requires landing two to three alliance rallies within a three- to five-second window. Spaced-out single rallies allow the defending state time to heal casualties, swap captains, and top off their troop pool.

Coordinate rally leaders so their march countdowns finish simultaneously. Use march speedups to close timing gaps.

  • First Rally: Absorbs initial traps and strips away the enemy's front-line infantry.
  • Second and Third Rallies: Strike before the defender can refill, hitting marksmen and lancers directly to force an immediate garrison wipe.

All joining members must send the exact troop tiers and unit types requested by the rally captain to maintain intended stat bonuses.

Prevent Hospital Overflow with Small-Batch Healing

Troops wounded during Castle and Turret combat enter your infirmary. If your hospital reaches maximum capacity, all subsequent wounded troops die permanently, permanently reducing your combat power for the rest of the battle.

To keep your hospital operational throughout the multi-hour event:

  • Check capacity frequently: Keep infirmary occupancy well below the maximum limit so emergency rally defenses do not trigger permanent losses.
  • Heal in small batches: Queue small amounts of wounded troops that alliance help clicks can instantly clear. Each click reduces the remaining timer, saving your speedups for critical pushes.
  • Save major speedups for defense: Reserve large healing speedup items for moments when your alliance lead calls for immediate emergency garrison refills.

Lock Down the Endgame

Opponents often launch desperate, all-in rallies during the final 30 minutes of the event to reset your occupation progress.

When defending a lead near the end of the match:

  • Recall offensive marches from non-essential targets and consolidate top-tier troops into the Castle and defending Turrets.
  • Move reserve marches to the edge of the red zone mud terrain surrounding the Castle. This positioning keeps reinforcement march times under ten seconds.
  • Monitor incoming rally paths continuously to ensure defensive refills land before the control gauge can flip.
