Prioritize Hospital Capacity Over Combat Engagement

The most effective way to avoid permanent troop loss during All-Out War is to ensure your hospital is never full. When your hospital capacity is reached, any additional troops wounded in battle are permanently killed. Before the event begins, check your current hospital capacity stats and compare them against your total troop count. If your hospital is small, you must be extremely selective about which battles you join.

Focus on joining rallies rather than solo attacking. When you join a rally, the hospital capacity of the rally leader often acts as a safety net, but you should still monitor your own troop health.
