In Whiteout Survival State vs. State (SvS) Castle Battles, an organized alliance can defeat opponents with higher power levels and multiple "mega whales" by applying non-stop rally pressure. Winning against high-spending states requires high rally participation, strict timing for healing speedups, and immediate troop reinforcement upon taking the Sunfire Castle.
Countering High-Power Players with Mass Participation
High-power commanders cannot be beaten in standard one-on-one combat. To take control of the Sunfire Castle from stronger individual players, your alliance must rely on participant volume to wear down enemy stats and exhaust their reserves.
- Fill Rallies Instantly: Non-rally leaders must join active alliance rallies immediately. Delays of even a few seconds reduce total march efficiency and leave rally captains under-capacity.
- Maintain Attack Waves: Keep continuous rallies moving toward the Sunfire Castle. Sustained attacks force defenders to spend healing speedups and combat items repeatedly to maintain control.
- Coordinate Captains in Alliance Chat: Designate specific rally leaders in alliance chat to prevent overlapping march times and avoid split capacity.
Managing Reinforcements and Early Combat Losses
Controlling the castle requires immediate action the moment a rally succeeds. If your alliance takes the Sunfire Castle, send troop reinforcements instantly to protect the building against incoming enemy rallies.
Because continuous attacks result in severe troop casualties, members must monitor their healing reserves. If your state lacks the total player count to maintain continuous rallies across the entire battle duration, restrict major offensive pushes to targeted time windows rather than attempting to hold the center continuously from the start.
Pacing Speedups for the Final Minutes
The point accumulation in the final minutes of the event determines the winner. Expending all healing speedups and troop reserves during the early stages of the battle leaves an alliance vulnerable late in the fight.
- Pace Resource Usage: Save a dedicated stash of healing speedups and combat items specifically for the final quarter of the battle window.
- Avoid Early Panic: Losing control of the castle with five to ten minutes remaining is not an immediate failure. Conserve speedups so your alliance can launch a unified, high-capacity push right before time expires.
- Force an Exhaustion Win: Pushing hard in the closing minutes forces enemy whales to defend under time pressure, depleting their stamina and item reserves when they can no longer react effectively.

This guide answered the exact question I had.
Good guide for Whiteout Survival players. The strategy part was useful.
I wish I had read this before upgrading the wrong thing.
