To survive the "Defend Your Home" community level by 白马到 in Zombie Night Terror, anchor your frontline blockers directly behind closed interior doorways, position ranged firearm units on elevated platforms, and detonate explosive mutants before they reach your barricades.

Unlike the standard campaign where you direct the zombie horde, this custom map requires protecting human survivors from incoming waves across multiple entry paths.

Secure Choke Points at Ingress Routes

Do not fight the horde out in the open yard. Funneling zombies through narrow entryways concentrates targets, allowing firearm damage to clear packs before they overrun individual defenders.

  • Hold Doorways Directly: Position a frontline blocker immediately behind each ground-floor door. When incoming zombies hit a closed barrier, they bunch together into tight clusters that take heavy damage from your backline weapons.
  • Cover Every Ingress Route: The level sends threats through multiple entry points rather than a single lane. Station at least one stopper at each exterior entrance, including basement stairs or lower access doors, to prevent unchecked penetrations into the building.
  • Maintain a Secondary Fallback Point: Designate an internal staircase or secondary interior door as an emergency defensive line. If an exterior door collapses, pull surviving units back immediately rather than letting defenders get surrounded in an open room.

Position Survivors by Weapon Role

Stack human combatants vertically across multi-tier rooms so rear units can shoot over frontline defenders without obstructing line of sight.

Survivor RolePositioningPrimary Target PriorityCombat Action
Frontline BlockerBehind closed doors and at stair topsStandard walkersAbsorbs initial contact and halts forward momentum
Rapid-Fire RangedElevated balconies and ladder platformsApproaching exterior clustersProvides continuous fire downward to thin waves
ShotgunnerDirectly behind frontline blockersArmored or charging targetsDelivers point-blank burst damage at door thresholds

Placing ranged survivors on second-floor balconies or upper platforms keeps them out of reach of standard walkers, which cannot scale ledges without climbing infrastructure. This high-ground advantage lets your gunners deliver continuous downward fire while your ground blockers absorb the surviving enemies.

Prioritize Explosive Mutants and Fast Crawlers

Standard walkers move predictably into choke points, but specialized infected will breach defenses quickly if not prioritized.

  1. Scan exterior approaches early: Watch the lanes outside the house for glowing or primed explosive infected like Bombers before they reach the doorstep.
  2. Focus-fire explosive targets at a distance: Trigger Bombers while they are still in open ground outside. Their blast radius will eliminate surrounding standard zombies instead of shattering your door and killing your human defenders.
  3. Intercept fast runners and crawlers: Direct ranged units to shoot fast-moving mutants before they contact your line. These units close distance rapidly and can slip past a single blocker if not suppressed early.
  4. Step back when an explosion is unavoidable: If an explosive mutant reaches an entrance threshold, immediately retreat your melee blocker back one room to avoid lethal blast damage.

Prevent Interior Breaches and Panic Infections

The primary failure state on this map is an indoor infection. When a zombie bites a human survivor inside, that survivor converts into a fresh walker behind your frontline barricades. Rear ranged defenders and civilians cannot block close-quarters attacks and will quickly succumb to an internal chain reaction.

If a ground-floor room is compromised, abandon that room instantly. Consolidate your remaining human defenders on the second floor or at an interior stairwell. Forcing the horde through a single internal stair choke point gives your concentrated survivors a much higher chance of clearing the remaining mutants.
