Because Jaroba possesses high poise, trading hits directly will quickly drain your health bar.

Combat Strategy and Countering Attack Patterns

Jaroba relies on heavy melee strikes, weight-shifting wind-up animations, and rapid forward charges to close gaps. To defeat him, adopt a hit-and-run tactic rather than attempting extended attack combos.

Follow this four-step combat loop throughout the fight:

1. Bait: Stand at mid-range directly in front of Jaroba until he begins shifting his weight or pulling back his weapon for a slam or forward charge.
