To unlock a featured Dimensional hero for free during an AFK Arena exchange event, you must collect 60 Soulstone shards using shop currencies before the exchange window closes. You cannot buy all 60 shards with a single token type. The optimal strategy is to max out low-impact currencies first—Guild Coins and Hero Coins—and cover the remaining balance with Labyrinth Coins, preserving valuable Gladiator Coins for the Challenger Store.
Shard Exchange Costs and Purchase Limits
Each currency pool has a maximum shard limit, requiring you to combine at least three different currencies to reach the 60-shard threshold.
| Currency Type | Shard Cap | Cost Per Shard | Total Currency Needed for Cap | Primary Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Guild Coins | 10 shards | 4,000 coins | 40,000 coins | Guild Hunting (Wrizz and Soren) |
| Hero Coins | 10 shards | 4,000 coins | 40,000 coins | Retiring Common (green) heroes |
| Labyrinth Coins | 50 shards | 4,000 coins | 200,000 coins | Arcane Labyrinth and Dismal Maze |
| Gladiator Coins | 15 shards | 13,333 coins | 200,000 coins | Legends' Challenger Tournament |
Recommended Currency Spending Priority
Prioritize currencies that replenish quickly and carry the lowest opportunity cost:
- Spend 40,000 Guild Coins (10 shards): Guild Coins recover steadily from daily Guild Hunting. Spending them here carries little risk to long-term account growth.
- Spend 40,000 Hero Coins (10 shards): Hero Coins accumulate whenever you retire common heroes in the Barracks. Using 40,000 points covers your second full cap.
- Spend 160,000 Labyrinth Coins (40 shards): Labyrinth Coins provide the bulk of the remaining requirement. Running the Dismal Maze every 48 hours generates the necessary volume over the preliminary event period.
- Reserve Gladiator Coins as an emergency backup: Gladiator Coins are expensive at roughly 13,333 coins per shard, and spending them slows down purchases of Celepogean heroes in the Challenger Store. Only buy shards with Gladiator Coins if you cannot farm enough Labyrinth Coins before the event ends.
Event Timeline and Trial Hero Access
Dimensional events run for approximately 60 days, but the currency exchange is not available immediately:
- Day 1 to the exchange unlock: You can activate a free 60-day trial copy from the event tab or Merchants interface immediately. The trial hero matches the level and ascension rank of your strongest roster members for use in Campaign, King's Tower, and Realm modes.
- Days 50 to 53: The exchange interface opens. It remains active for roughly 7 to 10 days.
- Event conclusion: If you fail to exchange 60 shards before the timer expires, the hero leaves the event shop. After that, you must use the Garrison system to access them.
Managing Currency Caps for Double Releases
When two Dimensional heroes release simultaneously, you need 120 shards. Because Labyrinth Coins cap at 200,000, you cannot store enough in your inventory to buy the bulk requirements for both heroes at once.
To bypass this limit, use your in-game mailbox:
- Allow your Labyrinth Coins to reach the 200,000 cap roughly 5 to 6 days before the exchange window unlocks.
- Continue running the Dismal Maze. Excess Labyrinth Coins automatically redirect to your mailbox.
- Keep track of the 7-day expiration timer on mail rewards.
- As soon as the exchange unlocks, purchase the shards for the first hero, claim the overflow coins from your mailbox, and complete the second hero exchange.
Soul Fusion Setup
Once you summon the Dimensional hero from the 60 soulstones, navigate to the Temple of Ascension to link them via Soul Fusion.
- Link the new hero to a five-star Ascended non-Dimensional unit that you do not frequently place on the same multi-battle team.
- Linked heroes cannot fight in the same battle formation unless you assign a Dimensional Key from the Constellation tree.
- Equip your linked hero with faction-matching Dimensional gear from the Guild Store to maximize combat stats in competitive modes.

Can you add more details about heroes in a future update?
The tips are practical and easy to follow.
