To clear the Snow and Fire adventure in AFK Arena's Voyage of Wonders, you must toggle elemental beams, railway track switches, and cannons in a strict sequential order. Misplacing a cart or activating a lever early can trap rail cars or destroy access to chests, forcing a manual reset of the adventure.

Snow and Fire Phase-by-Phase Route

Work through the map in five operational phases. Clear enemy camps as soon as they become accessible to collect combat relics and charge ultimate abilities before engaging tighter puzzle sectors.

PhaseObjectiveKey Interactions
Phase 1: Entry & Lower TrackEstablish track alignment and clear introductory enemies.Defeat camps 1–3, push the initial wooden cart along the lower rail, and flip the first blue lever.
Phase 2: Central Prism AlignmentMelt the lower ice wall blocking access forward.Move the prism cart into the central beam path to bypass stationary stone barriers.
Phase 3: Northern SwitchyardDisable the flame barrier guarding the upper plateau.Activate the red lever, reposition the upper portal cart, and fire the directional cannon to destroy the blocking barrel.
Phase 4: Eastern JunctionOpen the path toward the final sector and clear side camps.Rotate the dual-color turntable mechanism to switch between the upper frost gate and lower fire gate.
Phase 5: The Summit GateLower the final barrier guarding the Crystal Chest.Direct both elemental beams simultaneously into the dual receiver altar before fighting the boss camp.

Traps and Reset Prevention

The Snow and Fire map contains specific interaction failure points that permanently halt progress if executed out of order:

  • Cart Intersections: Never toggle a track lever while a railway cart sits directly over an intersection, as this jams the track mechanism.
  • Cannon Line of Sight: Always inspect the entire flight path before firing a cannon or laser. Hitting an explosive barrel next to a treasure chest destroys the container along with the obstacle.
  • Premature Beam Activation: Redirecting an elemental beam into an energy receiver before clearing adjacent side paths can raise barricades that permanently isolate common and elite chests.

Combat Relics and Team Management

Combat difficulty scales to your team's combat rating upon entering the Voyage of Wonders. Because your heroes retain their health and energy between fights, preserve momentum across encounters using these rules:

  • Prioritize Stacking and Energy Relics: Select Firebringer, Icebringer, and the Sunstone/Moonstone set to weaken enemy teams over time. Use relics such as the Pendant of Force or starting energy statuettes to cast ultimates immediately.
  • Manual Energy Preservation: Switch off auto-battle near the end of easy camp fights once your primary damage dealer is fully charged. Entering subsequent battles with full energy allows heroes like Ainz Ooal Gown or Scarlet to wipe camps instantly.
  • The Pause-and-Exit Rule: If an encounter goes poorly or key heroes die early, pause the match and exit before the defeat screen registers. This resets the fight with zero health penalty, letting you adjust hero positioning or bring in displacement counters like Eironn or Nara without consuming resurrection tears.

After defeating the final summit boss camp and opening the Crystal Chest, sweep the outer edges of the map to collect any remaining common chests for full exploration completion.
