Base Layout and Pathing

Place high-frequency structures—such as farm plots, harvesting stations, and main inventory storage—near the entrance of your home zone. Grouping functional nodes within a centralized radius reduces travel distance for assigned creatures and lets you collect goods quickly.

• Check terrain requirements: Certain workstations require specific terrain types to operate. Verify placement conditions in the build menu before setting down a node to prevent production bottlenecks.
• Separate industrial and living zones: Keep decorative items in a designated area away from work stations. Dense object placement can disrupt creature pathing AI, causing workers to get stuck or fail to reach their assigned stations.
