To use the Link System in Aniimo effectively, activate your transformation to take direct control of a captured creature's elemental traits, move set, and mobility skills. Transforming allows you to step onto the battlefield yourself or overcome specific environmental obstacles across Idyll, provided you manage your transformation energy bar and choose your active squad carefully.

Core Link System Mechanics

Activating a link temporary merges your character with a creature from your active roster. During transformation, your playstyle shifts entirely to match the chosen creature.

• Stat and Affinity Swap: Your base attributes and elemental typing temporarily match the linked creature.
• Energy Bar Duration: Transformations consume an energy gauge over time. When the meter empties, you automatically revert to your human form.
• Health and Defense Risk: Defensive stats and overall durability match the active creature. Linking into a fragile glass-cannon creature increases your vulnerability to heavy enemy attacks.
• Squad Reliance: You can only transform into creatures currently equipped in your active party roster.

Combat Applications and Execution

Linking turns your character into an active offensive fighter rather than a passive squad commander. Use the system to control enemy groups and exploit elemental weaknesses:
