To clear all nine levels of the Dream Manor minigame event in Ant Legion without failing attempts, focus entirely on dismantling deep central stacks while preserving open slots in your holding tray. The game ends in defeat whenever your bottom tray fills with unmatched tiles.

Core Rules for Managing Tray Capacity

Every tile you tap moves directly into your active tray. Completing a set of three matching tiles removes them from the tray and restores free space. To prevent the tray from overflowing, apply these rules on every move:

  • Select immediate completions: Only tap a tile if it finishes a three-piece match right away or pairs with a piece already in your tray while the third piece sits openly exposed on the board.
  • Avoid holding multiple incomplete pairs: Holding two unfinished pairs consumes four tray slots, leaving you almost no flexibility to dig for matching pieces.
  • Target deep stacks before flat edges: Surface tiles scattered around the perimeter do not conceal underlying layers. Focus on pieces covering tall pillars to expose hidden options.
  • Inspect the layer beneath: Check what tile is directly beneath your target. If freeing that underlying tile does not contribute to a current match, leave the top piece in place.

Stage-by-Stage Strategy

The puzzle difficulty ramps up through increased layer depth and item variety across nine stages.

Stage GroupBoard LayoutItem VarietyTactical Priority
Levels 1–21–2 layers3–4 item typesClear obvious matches quickly to establish visual rhythm.
Levels 3–42–3 layers5–6 item typesClear minimal edge blockers to open lines into central clusters.
Level 5High central stack6–7 item typesPeel perimeter tiles only when necessary to uncover the middle pile.
Levels 6–9Deep multi-column stacksMaximum varietySave visible edge triples as emergency relief valves while digging.

Early Stages (Levels 1–5)

Levels 1 through 4 require basic pattern recognition because item variety is low and most tiles have immediate pairs visible. By Level 5, blind taps become dangerous. Clear flat edge tiles only when they directly obscure central columns, then direct your moves toward uncovering the tallest stacks.

Late Stages (Levels 6–9)

The final four stages feature deep vertical columns hiding critical pieces.

  1. Scan the starting board: Locate where identical pieces sit and identify the tallest vertical piles.
  2. Preserve peripheral triples: Leave simple three-of-a-kind matches on the outer edges untouched until needed.
  3. Dismantle the deepest columns: Work through the tall center piles layer by layer to uncover buried items.
  4. Use edge matches as relief valves: If digging into a central column leaves your tray with four or five occupied slots, collect a reserved edge triple to clear three slots instantly.
  5. Clear remaining pairs: Once all vertical stacks are flat, match the remaining surface tiles to complete the level.

In Level 9, multiple tall columns stand side by side. Never allow your tray to reach five occupied slots unless your very next tap completes a triple and frees room.

Preserving Attempts and Resources

Failed attempts consume entry tickets or require waiting for timers and spending diamonds. Protect your attempts with the following habits:

  • Restart dead boards early: If your tray reaches five filled slots before you reveal at least half of the central stack in Level 8 or 9, restart the attempt immediately rather than wasting time on an unrecoverable layout.
  • Reserve helpers for Level 9: If you have access to a shuffle or revive mechanic, do not spend it on Levels 1 through 7. Save that safety net for the final tiles of Level 9 to guarantee a full event clear.
  • Collect milestone rewards promptly: Claim intermediate chest rewards from the event menu after clearing stages so your progress and item payouts are secured.
