In Bit Heroes Quest, mounts function as specialized equipment that permanently increases your hero's base attributes and provides a dedicated active skill for turn-based combat. To optimize your mount setup, equip your highest-rarity mount in your active equipment slot, distribute its stats to match your combat role, and spend Mount Guts primarily on high-tier mounts.
Matching Mount Stats to Your Character Build
Mount stats add directly to your hero's core attributes: Power, Stamina, and Agility. Because these numbers integrate into your total stat pool rather than modifying single actions, they scale your overall damage output, maximum health, and turn speed across PvE dungeons, Trials, and PvP matches.
Align your mount's stat allocation with your party role:
- Damage Dealers (DPS): Focus stats into Power and Agility to raise your damage ceiling and attack frequency.
- Tanks: Allocate heavily into Stamina to absorb direct hits from dungeon and raid bosses.
- Healers and Supports: Balance Power and Agility to maximize healing output and ensure your turn meter fills quickly enough to respond to incoming damage.
Upgrading Mounts with Mount Guts
Upgrading a mount increases its level, which raises the flat attributes provided to your character and boosts the effectiveness of its combat ability. Mount upgrades require Mount Guts, a finite crafting currency.
Because Mount Guts are limited, avoid spending them evenly across low-rarity mounts that will soon be replaced.
| Mount Rarity | Stat Multiplier Potential | Investment Priority | Resource Efficiency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common / Rare | Low to moderate | Minimal (Levels 1–2 only) | High early return, rapid obsolescence |
| Epic | High | Moderate mid-game baseline | Strong progression value before Legendary |
| Legendary / Mythic | Maximum scaling | Primary focus (Max rank) | Highest long-term upgrade value |
Use lower-tier mounts to push through early zones without heavily investing your materials. Save the majority of your Mount Guts for Epic, Legendary, or Mythic mounts that will remain equipped across multiple content tiers.
Using Mount Combat Skills
Every mount carries an exclusive active ability that can be selected during your hero's combat turn. Mount skills provide tactical flexibility alongside your weapon abilities, giving you an alternative action when your standard Skill Point (SP) pool is depleted.
Deploy mount abilities based on the battle scenario:
- Trash Mob Waves: Use area-of-effect (AoE) mount abilities to clear or soften secondary targets across enemy lines.
- Boss Burst Windows: Save high-damage, single-target mount abilities for when bosses are vulnerable or debuffed.
- Defensive Survival: Trigger shield generation or team-wide damage mitigation skills ahead of unavoidable incoming attacks.
Equipping Cosmetic Mounts
Bit Heroes Quest separates a mount's mechanical stats from its visual model. You do not need to display an unwanted mount design to benefit from its combat power.
Once you obtain a mount, you can assign its appearance to your cosmetic slot while keeping your strongest mechanical mount in your active gear slot. Always confirm that your active loadout holds your highest-rarity, highest-level mount, as items placed purely in cosmetic slots grant no stats or skills.
