To send a ZOMG on Round 7 in Bloons TD Battles, you must place and upgrade 15 separate COBRA towers to their Tier 4 right-path upgrade, Offensive Push (0-4), before or during Round 7, and retain at least $11,000 to pay for the blimp send. This strategy relies on stacking unlock-reduction mechanics and requires high-cash special arena modes such as Bananza to generate the necessary income.

How the COBRA Offensive Push Mechanic Works

Standard competitive rules prevent players from sending ZOMGs until Round 22. The COBRA's 0-4 upgrade, Offensive Push, lowers this threshold:

  • Passive global modifier: Purchasing Offensive Push immediately reduces the round requirement for all bloon and blimp sends by one round.
  • Additive stacking: The reduction stacks with every 0-4 COBRA on your side of the screen.
  • The Round 7 threshold: Reaching Round 7 from the standard Round 22 requirement requires a 15-round reduction (22 - 7 = 15). You need exactly 15 Offensive Push COBRAs active on the field.

Required Loadout and Game Modes

Reaching 15 Tier 4 towers by Round 7 costs tens of thousands of dollars, making it impossible in standard low-cash arenas like Lead Dungeon or MOAB Pit due to baseline income limits. Restrict this strategy to high-economy modifiers like Bananza or Play with Fire.

Select the following three-tower loadout:

  1. COBRA: The core rush enabler.
  2. Banana Farm: The primary cash generation engine required to afford rapid mass upgrades.
  3. Crowd-Control Anchor Tower: A high-efficiency defense tower, such as a Bomb Tower, Boomerang Monkey, or Tack Shooter.

Choose wide-open maps with ample land area, such as Temple or Shallow Grave. Cramped or water-heavy layouts like Hydro Dam and Battle River lack the land footprint needed to fit 15 COBRAs alongside multiple Banana Farms.

Step-by-Step Execution Plan

1. Build Early Economy (Rounds 1–3)

Open immediately by placing Banana Farms. Upgrade them into 2-0 and transition directly toward 3-0 or 4-2 facilities. Do not invest cash into the COBRA's left path (such as Bloon Adjustment), as it consumes capital without contributing to the round-reduction mechanic.

2. Secure Cheap Defense (Rounds 4–5)

Natural bloon waves will leak if you rely solely on base COBRAs and Farms. Spend the minimum necessary cash on a central defense anchor:

  • Place a single 2-3 Bomb Tower (Cluster Bombs) or a 2-3 Boomerang Monkey (Bionic Boomer) on an intersection or curve.
  • Rely on your Tower Boost power to handle grouped bloon rushes on Round 4 or Round 6 instead of buying excess defensive towers.

3. Mass-Deploy 0-4 COBRAs (Round 6)

Dedicate all incoming income to placing COBRAs in compact clusters. Upgrade each unit down the right path: 0-1, 0-2, 0-3, and finally 0-4 Offensive Push. Track the bloon-send panel at the bottom of the screen to watch the unlock icons for MOABs, BFBs, and ZOMGs drop round by round.

4. Send the ZOMG (Round 7)

Once the 15th Offensive Push upgrade completes, the ZOMG icon unlocks. Confirm you have at least $11,000 in reserve, then immediately tap the ZOMG send button.

Counter-Rushes and Win Conditions

At Round 7, opponents rarely have the cash or upgrades to defend against a full-health ZOMG. High-tier counters like Bloonjitsu Ninjas, Super Monkeys, or Spike Storms are generally unaffordable or unable to handle the dense inner layers that early in the game.

The primary failure point is an opponent base-race counter-rush. When your ZOMG deploys, opponents frequently sell their defenses to send fast, boosted bloons down your track. Keep your Bloon Boost ready, monitor their side of the board, and place a reactive crowd-control tower immediately if they attempt to overwhelm your minimal defense. Do not sell your COBRAs to fund defense unless the rush is fatal, as selling them resets your bloon unlock levels.
