Town Hall Shields: Defending Resources and Village Guard

The December 2015 update removed "Town Hall sniping," where players left their Town Hall in an unprotected corner to receive an automatic 12-hour shield from low-commitment attackers.

Under current defensive mechanics:

• Shield Requirements: An attacker must achieve at least 30% base destruction and deploy at least one-third (33%) of a full army capacity to trigger a shield for the defender.

Builder Base 2.0: Unlocking the Sixth Builder

Introduced in May 2017 with live Versus Battles and rigid daily loot caps, the Builder Base initially created progression bottlenecks disconnected from the Home Village. Builder Base 2.0 addressed these friction points by switching to two-stage asynchronous attacks, adding defense-based resource income, and introducing Star Bonuses to ease farming.

Your primary objective in the Builder Base is unlocking the sixth builder (B.O.B) for your Home Village. Focus resources strictly on B.O.B requirements:
