How to Turn a Defense Into a Counterpush in Clash Royale

After a successful defense, use surviving troops as the starting point for a counterpush. Add support only if you can still respond to your opponent’s next play; otherwise, let the troops advance without committing more cards.

Turn a defense into pressure

1. Defend against the opponent’s push.
2. Check which of your troops survived and whether they can still contribute to an attack.
3. Support them only if you can afford to defend against a counterattack.
4. If your opponent has committed heavily to one lane, consider applying pressure in the other lane instead.

A surviving unit gives you a starting point, not a reason to spend your entire hand. If the counterpush fails to make progress, stop adding cards and prepare to defend again.
