Across these activities, the practical aim is to refine a build that can withstand dense enemy waves and bring down the major threats guarding the world.

Playing on a larger display can make it easier to follow enemy movement and combat effects while stringing together skill combos, particularly when a Warrior is charging through a crowd or a Necromancer is moving and casting amid an undead army. More screen space also helps when surveying a mystic realm or dungeon, keeping track of the route through a fight, and spotting the details that matter during a boss encounter. Keyboard-and-mouse input offers a comfortable way to manage repeated combat actions and skill use, then shift to comparing gear or customizing a build between expeditions. Those controls and the bigger view are useful complements to the game’s action-RPG loop: fight through enemies, pursue legendary chests, develop your hero, and return to increasingly demanding seasonal battles against the forces darkening the world.
