During a seasonal Halloween campaign in DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE, prioritize clearing daily event missions, farming limited free-to-play (F2P) event characters to 100% Hidden Potential, and buying out key items from the Baba Shop before the event period expires.

Complete your daily missions first at each server reset. Afterward, direct all remaining stamina toward event character stages using boosted category teams to prepare your roster for restricted Extreme Z-Areas and preserve Dragon Stones for major celebrations later in the year.

Check In-Game Announcements and Daily Missions

Open the in-game News and check the Event tab under the Missions menu immediately after a seasonal update.

  • Track Expiration Dates: Halloween story stages, support memory challenges, and Extreme Z-Areas run on strict event schedules. Note when each event closes.
  • Clear Daily Resets First: Daily campaign missions reward Dragon Stones, meat, and summon tickets. These missions reset daily and do not roll over, so clear them before grinding story drops.
  • Collect Login Bonuses: Log in every consecutive day during the celebration window to claim limited summon tickets and stamina-restoring meat items.

Farm F2P Halloween Units to Maximum Potential

Seasonal story events feature exclusive F2P characters such as Ghost Gotenks and Candy Vegito. Many upcoming Extreme Z-Areas require these specific units to be fully awakened and rainbowed (100% Hidden Potential activation) to even challenge the stages.

To fully max out a seasonal event character, farm the following copy counts:

Farming StepRequired CopiesPrimary Objective
Base Unit & Super Attack10 Base CopiesTrain to max level and raise Super Attack (SA) to level 10.
Hidden Potential Paths4 Duplicate CopiesUnlock all 4 paths, prioritizing Bottom-Right and Top-Left.
EZA Super Attack Buffer5 Extra CopiesDokkan Awaken separately to feed into the main card for SA 15 without Kais.

Run the event's daily bonus stage each reset if it drops exclusive Halloween skill orbs to optimize the unit's stats without dipping into generic skill orb reserves.

Optimize Stage Drop Rates with Category Boost Teams

Do not clear Halloween event stages with a standard team. Check the event details page to identify the designated boosted category, such as "Majin Buu Saga," "Peppy Gals," or "Youth."

  • Prioritize Rarity: The drop bonus scales based on unit rarity. Place LR (Legendary Rare) characters on the team first, followed by UR/TUR (Transcended Ultra Rare) characters belonging to the boosted category.
  • Ignore Synergies for Drops: Stage difficulties in story events are low. You do not need matching link skills or dedicated leader synergy; high rarity within the boosted category is more important to trigger double and triple drops for character cards and seasonal medals.

Baba Shop Halloween Currency Priorities

Clearing seasonal stages awards event-specific currencies such as candies, pumpkins, or medals. Trade them in the Baba Shop before the exchange deadline expires using the following priority order:

  1. Halloween Summon Tickets: Provides unfeatured SSR cards and Kai chances without spending Dragon Stones.
  2. Grand Kais and Sleeping Kais: Stockpiles Super Attack levels for premium Dokkan Fest or Carnival releases.
  3. Incredible Hourglasses: Reverses awakened units when adding duplicate paths later.
  4. Support Items and Awakening Medals: Secures bulk quantities of damage-reduction items like Whis and Princess Snake.

Avoid trading event currency for Zeni or common training capsules until all summon tickets, Kais, and high-tier items are completely sold out.

Save Dragon Stones for Upcoming Celebrations

Halloween updates often introduce discount summon banners or guaranteed featured SSR pools. Unless you are severely lacking roster depth, avoid spending Dragon Stones on these bait banners.

Rely on the free summon tickets earned through missions and logins. Bank all Dragon Stones earned from the Halloween story stages and Extreme Z-Areas for the major Dokkan Fest and end-of-year celebrations scheduled in November and December.
