With God silent and survival at stake, you take charge of an adventuring party, sending heroes across a vast continent to fight monsters, claim loot, and push through the main story. The central rhythm is a blend of preparation and largely automated combat. You build a squad, decide how it should approach a fight, then watch your heroes battle enemies across different maps and return with gear and other rewards.

Goblins and skeletons share the continent with giant golems and hell devils, while nine main-story bosses and additional elites demand extra care.

Loot and character development provide the other major reason to keep exploring. The game offers more than 100 types of weapons and gear, making equipment a central part of building each hero. At the blacksmith, you can craft exclusive gear and improve its properties in multiple ways, with the aim of fitting it to your preferred play style. That creates a loop of fighting, collecting, and refining: new drops can strengthen the party, while crafted equipment lets you shape a more deliberate build. The continent is divided into 11 major plates, each with different terrain and monsters, and its special map nodes offer distinct combat experiences. Some are framed as tests of your limits; others let you fight alongside NPCs against dangerous enemies. For a further challenge, the Shadow Realm contains powerful, unique shadow monsters and coveted treasures.

On PC, a larger display can make the pre-battle decisions easier to follow: you have more room to inspect hero positions on the map, compare classes and equipment, and keep monster threats in view while planning a four-person squad. Keyboard-and-mouse input also suits repeated management tasks such as moving through the continent’s map nodes, reviewing gear, selecting potions, and adjusting a lineup before another automated fight. The battles themselves do not demand constant input, but that does not make the strategic choices incidental; a clear view of the party and its equipment helps you prepare before handing the action to your heroes.
