To unlock missing lower-tier equipment in Eternal Sword Pact, adjust your auto-smelt filter to stop dismantling uncollected gear, check your set archive for exact missing slots, and farm low-floor bosses or synthesize duplicates. Completing these early sets provides permanent account-wide stat bonuses, such as Attack, Defense, and Max HP, even when your character equips higher-tier items.
Check Missing Slots in the Gear Archive
Before spending daily dungeon vouchers or crafting materials, verify which pieces are absent and whether partial activation thresholds are available:
- Open your character profile and select the Gear/Set Archive.
- Scroll to the lowest incomplete tier.
- Identify the specific missing item slots, such as off-hands, helms, or rings.
- Check whether the set bonus requires a full collection or triggers at two-piece and four-piece milestones.
Targeting only the items needed to reach the next resonance threshold saves daily boss tickets and crafting currency.
Adjust Auto-Smelt Settings
Aggressive auto-salvaging is the most common reason early sets remain incomplete. If your smelting filter dismantles all drops below your equipped tier, newly acquired low-tier pieces disappear before registering in your archive.
Protect uncollected drops by opening your bag settings and making the following changes:
- Protect unregistered items: Enable the option that prevents auto-smelting uncollected gear pieces.
- Lower rarity thresholds: While targeting early sets, permit purple or blue drops to remain in your bag until verified.
- Inspect post-run loot: Confirm that a lower-tier drop registers in the archive before using manual quick-smelt functions.
Farm Low-Tier Bosses and Dungeons
High-level boss tables do not drop Tier 1 through Tier 4 gear. You must re-enter lower-difficulty content to collect specific missing slots.
| Source | Best Used For | Resource Cost | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Personal Bosses (Low Floors) | Class-restricted armor and weapons | Daily boss vouchers | High |
| Gear Dungeons (Lower Stages) | High-volume drops for synthesis | Dungeon tickets / Stamina | High |
| World Bosses (Early Tiers) | Set completion and accessories | Daily entry stamina | Medium |
| Market / Guild Exchange | Specific missing armor pieces or off-hands | Guild contribution / Gold | Low–Medium |
Run Personal Bosses first, as their drop pools are limited to your active class. When daily Personal Boss vouchers are exhausted, run lower floors of Gear Dungeons to generate bulk drops for your archive or the synthesis menu.
Synthesize and Trade for Missing Pieces
If specific pieces do not drop from instances, use crafting and community features:
- Gear Synthesis: Access the synthesis tab in the crafting menu to combine duplicate gear of the same tier into specific missing slots or gear tokens.
- Guild Warehouse: Check the guild vault or player stalls for surplus lower-tier purple and orange equipment deposited by other members. Exchanging unneeded mid-tier drops for stored low-tier gear allows you to complete sets without spending instance stamina.
