To beat Gardenscapes Level 534, prioritize clearing the lower wooden crates first rather than making standard matches near the top. Breaking the bottom obstacles opens board space, allows pieces to cascade, and creates room to form the explosive power-ups needed to clear the remaining objectives within the move limit.
Break the Lower Blockers First
Level 534 begins with a heavily restricted board divided by dense wooden crates. Making matches at the top of the board wastes moves because top-level matches do not disturb the blockers below.
- Target bottom-row matches: Make horizontal matches directly touching crates or vertical matches alongside crate walls to soften the barriers.
- Encourage cascades: Removing the first few crates allows pieces to drop down from the top dispenser, triggering automatic cascades that clear additional tiles without using extra turns.
- Ignore high simple matches: Unless a top-level match creates an immediate power-up, skip it in favor of moves that directly chip away at wooden blockers.
Create and Combine Explosives
Simple three-piece matches cannot clear this stage before the move counter expires. Once the lower board begins opening up, use four-piece and larger combinations to manufacture explosives.
| Power-Up | Match Requirement | Best Use on Level 534 |
|---|---|---|
| Rocket | 4 tiles in a straight line | Punctures horizontal crate rows or clears full columns |
| Bomb | 5 tiles in an L- or T-shape | Clears a wide two-tile radius of dense obstacle clusters |
| TNT | 6 matched tiles | Clears a massive area and charges the Rainbow Blast meter rapidly |
Whenever possible, avoid detonating power-ups in isolation. Instead, spend a move to bring two boosters adjacent to each other:
- Bomb + Rocket: Clears three vertical and three horizontal rows simultaneously across the grid.
- Bomb + Bomb: Creates an expanded shockwave that wipes out clustered obstacles in a single activation.
- Rainbow Blast + Rainbow Blast: Swapping two adjacent Rainbow Blasts clears the entire screen of regular pieces and strips one layer from every obstacle on the board.
Deploy Rainbow Blasts Effectively
Detonating explosives charges your Rainbow Blast meter. Once a Rainbow Blast appears on the board, evaluate piece colors before activating it:
- Check color density: Scan the board to see which tile color is most prevalent around your remaining targets and obstacles.
- Clear the target color: Match the Rainbow Blast with that dominant color to trigger widespread board movement and clear space around remaining blockers.
- Wait for a pair when close: If two Rainbow Blasts sit within one or two tiles of each other, use adjacent matches to align them for a full-board clear rather than spending them separately.
Clear Edge Targets in the Endgame
When reaching the final ten moves, focus strictly on remaining target objectives. Targets tucked into corners or along the outer perimeter are difficult to hit with normal three-piece matches.
Work in the open center of the board where you have the room to assemble Rockets and Bombs. Once created, detonate them along the row or column aligned with your perimeter targets. Any leftover power-ups on the board will automatically detonate once the final goal is met, converting remaining moves into bonus coins.
