To beat Level 2205 in Gardenscapes, clear the multi-hit blockers in the lower-middle section of the board during your first three to four moves to restore tile refill flow. Once pieces drop freely, focus on creating and combining heavy explosives rather than making isolated three-piece matches.

Opening Turn Priorities

Level 2205 starts with segmented columns and clustered obstacles that restrict tile movement and prevent pieces from refilling the board. Spending early moves in the upper corners leaves these bottlenecks unresolved and wastes limited turns. Work from the bottom up to loosen the grid immediately.

2. Adjacent Blocker HitsThickest obstacle clustersWeaken multi-layer blockers directly so refill lanes open.
3. Bottom-Row MatchesLower third of boardShift four to six rows above to trigger cascades and passively charge Rainbow Blasts.
4. Upper-Row MatchesTop rows and cornersUse only when no lower moves or power-up setups are available.

Combining Explosives

Single power-up detonations rarely clear enough obstacles to finish the stage within the turn limit. Whenever possible, spend one preparatory move to slide two adjacent power-ups together before detonating them.

  • Double Rainbow Blast: Swapping two Rainbow Blasts removes an entire layer across the entire board, wiping out single-layer obstacles and stripping a layer from multi-hit blockers.
  • Rainbow Blast + Bomb: Converts every piece matching the target color into a Bomb, triggering a sweeping chain reaction across obstructed columns.
  • Bomb + Firecracker: Expands the standard explosive radius, reaching awkward corner tiles that straight line matches cannot hit.

Late-Stage Target Cleanup

During the final eight to ten turns, stop making broad detonations in already cleared sections of the board. Check your remaining objective count and locate where the final targets sit.

If remaining objectives are trapped along outer edges or isolated columns, set up direct line matches in those specific lanes. If a direct match is impossible, slide a Firecracker or use a targeted Rainbow Blast to remove the stubborn piece without burning extra turns. Conserving remaining turns triggers an end-of-level coin bonus.
