Prioritize Lauma over Nefer on the Genshin Impact Phase 2 banners (labeled as Version 7.1 in the source video title) if you do not own either character. Lauma is the core support for Lunar-Bloom teams, while Nefer relies heavily on Lauma to reach her expected damage output. Do not pull on the character or weapon banners solely for the featured 4-star options, as both 4-star lineups offer limited roster value.
5-Star Character Pull Priority: Lauma vs. Nefer
| Account Status | Recommended Action | Supported Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Own neither Lauma nor Nefer | Pull Lauma first | Fits Lunar-Bloom, Bloom, and Hyperbloom teams; only pull Nefer with leftover Primogems |
| Own Nefer only | Pull Lauma | Nefer's damage drops noticeably without Lauma's support buffs |
| Own Lauma only | Optional pull for Nefer | Completes a dedicated Lunar-Bloom team, though Lauma and Columbina can already clear Lunar-Bloom content |
| Lack a Nod-Krai main DPS (no Varka or Flins) | Pull Lauma, then Nefer | Provides regional main DPS coverage once paired together |
Why Lauma Comes First
Lauma serves as a core Dendro and Lunar-Bloom support who fits multiple team archetypes. In addition to buffing Nefer, she works in standard Bloom and Hyperbloom compositions and pairs well with Columbina.
If you want to invest further into Lauma or Nefer, both characters have strong Constellation 1 (C1) upgrades. Lauma's C1 adds healing to her kit, though you may not need that defensive utility if you already run Columbina with Prototype Amber or own C1 Columbina for her shield.
Phase 2 4-Star Character Value: Jahoda, Aino, and Sethos
Skip this banner if you only want 4-star characters or constellations. The featured lineup of Jahoda, Aino, and Sethos fills narrow roles or requires heavy investment:
- Jahoda (Anemo bow): Sees niche use with Flins, at C6, or holding Elegy for the End for Nefer, but most accounts prefer Sucrose in those Anemo support slots.
- Aino (Hydro claymore): Works mainly with Flins or Ineffa and provides temporary Hydro application before you get stronger 5-star Hydro units, as Columbina replaces her in optimal setups. Neither Jahoda nor Aino is a priority teammate for Nefer.
- Sethos (Electro bow): Functions as a 4-star main DPS in Aggravate or Overloaded teams and improves significantly at C6, but requires substantial investment and strong teammates to match a baseline 5-star carry.
Phase 1 vs. Phase 2 for 4-Star Hunters
If you want versatile 4-star characters, the Phase 1 banner featuring Linnea and Chasca is much stronger because it includes Bennett, Xiangling, and Sucrose. Sucrose works directly with Flins, Nefer, and Mualani, while Bennett and Xiangling support many Pyro and reaction teams. Only pull on Phase 1 for its 4-stars if you are at low pity, do not have a guaranteed 5-star you want to save, and would accept getting an early Linnea (for Zibai or Noelle teams) or Chasca.
Should You Pull on the Phase 2 Weapon Banner?
Pull on the Phase 2 weapon banner only if you want the 5-star signature catalysts—Reliquary of Truth and Nightweaver's Looking Glass—and can ignore a weak 4-star weapon pool.
5-Star Signature Catalysts
- Reliquary of Truth (Nefer's Signature): Grants an 88.2% CRIT DMG secondary stat, plus a passive providing 8% CRIT Rate, Elemental Mastery stacks, and an extra 24% CRIT DMG when both weapon effects are active. It works both for Nefer and as a general DPS catalyst.
- Nightweaver's Looking Glass (Lauma's Signature): Provides 265 Elemental Mastery and buffs party-wide Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, and Lunar-Bloom damage. Lauma can also use an event weapon that gives Energy Recharge and 200 Elemental Mastery, or budget 4-star Elemental Mastery catalysts, but getting her signature weapon while pulling for Nefer's catalyst is still valuable if you own Lauma.
Featured 4-Star Weapons
Do not pull on the weapon banner solely for the 4-star options:
- Sacrificial Sword: The strongest 4-star weapon on the banner, offering high utility for supports like Xingqiu.
- Dragon's Bane and Sacrificial Fragments: Usable Elemental Mastery options for Hu Tao, Xiangling, Sucrose, Nahida, or a budget Lauma build, though veteran players often have copies already.
- The Bell: Lacks practical use across the roster.
- Mitternachts Waltz: Fischl's signature 4-star Physical DMG Bonus bow, which matches her appearance but provides little combat value for standard builds.
