To get four end-of-turn triggers in Hearthstone Battlegrounds, combine a Golden Drakkari Enchanter with an end-of-turn multiplier Trinket, such as Drakkari Portrait.

Normally, end-of-turn abilities activate once at the close of the Recruit phase. Regular Drakkari Enchanter sets this rate to two activations, while a Golden Drakkari Enchanter raises it to three. Adding a modifier Trinket introduces an extra trigger instance. These modifiers resolve additively, allowing every qualifying minion on your board to execute its end-of-turn text four consecutive times before combat begins.

How the 4x Multiplier Resolves

Triggers execute sequentially rather than all at once. The game checks board states, hand size, and available targets between each individual activation.

Because activations resolve one by one, resource generation requires active hand management:

  • Tavern Spell and Card Generators: Minions like Ignition Specialist add cards directly to your hand. Hearthstone caps hand size at 10 cards. If your hand holds seven cards when the timer ends, four activations will overfill your hand, causing the final card to burn.
  • Stat Buffs and Gem Distribution: Targeted buffs recalculate dynamically. When a minion like Charlga triggers four times, each activation applies a Blood Gem across all friendly minions in sequence, totaling four gems per board slot.

Board Management and Positioning

Running a dedicated trigger engine consumes board slots with low-stat utility units. A Golden Drakkari Enchanter offers minimal combat value, leaving only five or six active attackers for combat.

To balance passive scaling with combat survival, follow these rules:

  1. Clear hand space before the timer expires: Maintain no more than five or six cards in hand when running card generators so the engine does not burn incoming resources.
  2. Protect the engine on the board: Place Drakkari Enchanter on the far right. Placing high-health Taunt minions or Divine Shield units on the far left prevents enemy Cleave attacks from eliminating your utility pieces early.
  3. Wait for established payoffs before tripling: Do not sacrifice board tempo to force a Golden Drakkari Enchanter without at least one high-impact end-of-turn payoff already on the board. Holding low-stat minions without immediate scaling leads to lethal combat losses in the mid-game.
