To clear Stage 60-15 of the Night Hero Expedition in Hero Clash, run Duke of Night (Varian) as your main damage carry protected in the back row, supported by front-row crowd control units who act before the enemy team. Stage 60-15 restricts you to Night faction heroes against an opposing wave with high damage resistance, massive health pools, and lethal opening burst. Because enemy damage scales rapidly past round three, surviving requires locking down enemy threats immediately rather than bringing extra healers.

Every slot must contribute crowd control, damage amplification, or burst execution. Do not split your team focus across multiple sustain units.

Slot Positioning and Speed Order

Surviving the opening turn depends on absorbing attacks on durable heroes while keeping Varian free of disabling effects.

  1. Slot 1 (Anubis): Takes initial frontline aggro and locks down the opposing primary lane.
  2. Slot 2 (Denise): Soaks residual frontline damage while providing buffs to keep your attackers operational.
  3. Slot 3 (Sophia or Melissa): Deploys early crowd control across opposing columns.
  4. Slot 4 (Garcia): Sits in the backline to snipe vulnerable enemy damage dealers.
  5. Slot 5 (Mafalda or Flex Support): Provides secondary energy denial or control from safety.
  6. Slot 6 (Varian): Stays in the safest back-row position to prevent early stuns or silences before his ultimate triggers.

Your speed tuning must ensure Sophia and Anubis act before Varian. Disabling and debuffing enemy units prior to Varian's turn allows his offensive cycle to hit targets stripped of defense.

Artifact and Gear Setup

Equip Varian entirely for burst damage. Bypassing inflated enemy health and defense pools requires offensive artifacts focused on Armor Penetration, Critical Hit Rate, and Critical Damage. Equipping defensive gear on your carry will lower damage output and cause you to hit the turn limit.

For Sophia and Anubis, equip energy-generating or speed-focused artifacts. This allows them to trigger crowd control skills in the first round before opposing carries can release ultimate abilities. Front-row support heroes need damage reduction and evasion gear to survive the initial two rounds of combat.

Combat Execution and Restarts

Stage 60-15 requires clean turn-one crowd control and consistent critical hits. If the primary enemy carry resists your opening stun from Anubis or Sophia, or if Varian fails to score critical hits during his first burst skill, restart the battle immediately. Recheck your rune secondary stats to ensure your control supports retain their speed advantage over Varian, then re-enter the encounter until the opening crowd control sequence lands successfully.
