Before the Fishing Event concludes in High Seas Hero: Dig & Build, cast every remaining lure, claim your completed milestone rewards, and empty your event currency in the exchange shop. Unused event items and currencies typically expire or convert into minimal amounts of standard resources via mail.

Complete these steps in order before the event timer runs out.

1. Spend All Remaining Bait and Lures

Do not hold unused bait into the final minutes of the event, as server resets can cut sessions short. Every cast yields player experience, progress toward collection records, and event tokens.

• Use Automated Casting for Large Stashes: If you have accumulated dozens of standard lures, activate automated casting modes to burn through them quickly. Monitor your inventory space so casts are not interrupted.
• Save Manual Controls for High-Tier Lures: If your available lures include golden or premium variants, reel manually if tension bonuses or multipliers increase your odds of landing rare species.
• Stop Buying Timed Packs: Do not spend diamonds on extra bait packs unless you have enough real-world time to cast them before the deadline.

2. Finish Missing Catch Milestones

Review your fishing album and log before finishing your final attempts. Targeting specific gaps yields higher point returns than repeatedly fishing completed zones.

• Relocate to Missing Habitats: If specific species only inhabit certain depths or distinct pools, move your line to uncompleted areas to secure one-off log completions.
• Aim for Weight Thresholds: Check whether catching a larger specimen pushes you past a total weight bracket, which grants bonus rewards such as diamonds, recruitment tickets, or ship parts.
• Prioritize Rare Encounters: Rare and epic fish grant higher point allocations toward event meters than common fish.

3. Claim Milestone Crates and Check Leaderboards

Points from every catch automatically advance your personal milestone track and your bracket placement. However, unclaimed milestone chests are not always credited automatically.

1. Open the event milestone screen.
2. Manually collect every unlocked milestone chest before logging off.
3. Check your bracket standing on the leaderboard. If a small point increase secures the next reward tier, use a few targeted casts to close the gap. If the next tier is out of reach, hold your diamonds for future events.

4. Spend Currency in the Event Exchange Shop

Take all earned event tokens to the exchange store immediately after your bait is exhausted. Focus purchases on long-term progression bottlenecks rather than common farmable goods.
