Invincible: Guarding the Globe Volcanikka Team Build

To build an effective squad in Invincible: Guarding the Globe, place defensive tanks in the front line, position Volcanikka in the backline as your primary damage dealer, and run Seance Dog to provide utility support. Concentrate your hero XP and upgrade materials into this core duo to clear difficult Campaign stages rather than spreading resources thin across your roster.

Core Squad Roles and Positioning

Setting up clear roles ensures your damage output remains consistent throughout fights:

• Volcanikka (Primary DPS): Functions as your backline damage anchor. Place her behind defensive units so she can deal continuous damage without taking direct melee attacks.
• Seance Dog (Utility Support): Provides battlefield management that mitigates incoming damage. His kit relieves pressure on your frontline, allowing your DPS units to stay active during long engagements.
• Frontline Tanks: Position your highest-survivability tank units in the front row to absorb initial enemy attack waves.

Resource Allocation and GDA Ops Planning

Focusing upgrade resources on a single core team yields faster progression than leveling a wide roster:

1. Prioritize the Core Duo: Direct the majority of your hero XP, upgrade materials, and shop hero shards into Volcanikka and Seance Dog until they hit key level thresholds.
2. Prepare Secondary Faction Heroes: Certain GDA Ops missions enforce specific faction requirements. Keep a secondary roster of faction-matched heroes at respectable levels so you can meet mission entries and claim rewards when your primary units are restricted.

Troubleshooting Combat with Artifacts

When a squad composition struggles on specific Campaign or GDA Ops stages, adjust your setup based on the cause of failure:

• Frontline Collapsing: If your frontline dies quickly, equip defensive artifacts on your tanks to absorb incoming burst damage.
• Timing Out: If the battle timer expires before enemies are defeated, equip artifacts that increase attack speed or critical damage on your backline damage dealers.
