You choose a fighter, build a hand, and face a series of short encounters where a well-timed card can change the fight. Its central loop is direct: equip weapons and armor, play cards to attack or shape the coming turns, meet the timing challenge on each attack, then collect coins and loot and use your progress to prepare for the next battle. The stakes are built into both the choices and the execution: a powerful card can still be wasted if you release at the wrong moment, while keeping a useful hand requires deciding which three cards to retain when your turn ends.

Combat combines card selection with an active timing check. When you drag an attack, a bar sweeps across the table; release inside the marked zone to land the hit. That makes each strike more than a matter of choosing a card, and gives repeated attacks a practical rhythm of aim, timing, and consequence. Other cards let you equip deadly blades and iron armor or play delayed spells that can silence an enemy, twist their fate, or create a high-risk pact affecting both sides. Because spells resolve later, their value depends on anticipating what may happen before they take effect. The hand limit adds another layer of planning: you cannot simply carry every option forward, so you must judge which cards suit the next turn and which to let go.

Your fighter determines how you approach those decisions. Both available heroes are free from the start. The Magician turns extra draws into damage and can copy the next card you play with their skill, making the order of your plays especially important. The Destiny Master can shut down an opponent’s first card each turn and use their skill to draw the card you need. These abilities give the same card-battling framework distinct tactical angles: the Magician rewards thinking about draws and card sequencing, while the Destiny Master offers a way to interfere with the enemy’s opening move and search for a specific response. Upgrading heroes and cards extends that preparation beyond a single encounter, while daily quests provide additional objectives alongside the main climb.

The campaign is structured around 30 stages, giving you a clear progression goal as you refine your equipment, improve your fighter, and adapt your choices to each battle. Every fight pays out coins and loot whether you win or lose, so an unsuccessful attempt still contributes to ongoing upgrades rather than bringing progress to a complete stop. There is no energy system on cards and no waiting between rounds, keeping the focus on the next hand, the next timing window, and the next decision. Daily quests add another reason to return, while the stage climb supplies the longer-term objective.

On PC, a larger display can make it easier to follow the cards, equipment, and timing bar together, particularly when you are weighing a delayed spell against an immediate attack or deciding which cards to keep for the next turn. Keyboard-and-mouse input also suits the game’s hands-on attack mechanic: the mouse lets you drag a card and release it in the timing zone, while a keyboard can provide convenient access to repeated interface actions. That extra screen space is useful for reading the table at a glance as you compare blades, armor, and card effects, then focus on the moving bar when an attack needs precise timing. The result is a compact, repeatable strategy loop built around a small hand, hero-specific abilities, equipment choices, and the skill to land the strike.
