To beat Stage 15, City of Lozagon, on Impossible difficulty in Kingdom Rush Vengeance TD+, build physical-damage archer towers at the central intersections and drop melee units directly on top of incoming spellcasters. Enemy casters carry high magic armor and long-range disabling spells that neutralize towers and melt standard armored defenders, making physical burst damage and aggressive melee interception mandatory.
Tower Loadout and Roles
Because Lozagon features heavily magic-resistant casters and shielded constructs, your primary damage output must be physical. Reserve magic damage for dedicated, single-target execution against high-health brutes.
| Tower Type | Recommended Tower | Tactical Role |
|---|---|---|
| Primary Physical DPS | Bone Flingers or Shadow Archers | Melts unarmored and robe-wearing casters quickly at low gold cost. |
| Burst Finisher | Blazing Gem | Focuses continuous heat on high-health magical golems and elite champions. |
| Area Denial | Melting Furnace or Goblin Rocket | Thins out dense acolyte swarms and interrupts spell channels with stuns. |
| Choke Controller | Orc Warriors Den or Dark Knights | Catches rushers and holds lane intersections; Dark Knights absorb heavy physical hits. |
| Utility Support | Specters Mausoleum | Summons gargoyles to absorb spells and possesses dangerous mid-tier enemies. |
When running Bone Flingers, prioritize the Walking Dead upgrade. The skeletons spawned directly in the path serve as sacrificial decoys that intercept targeted hexes and burst spells before they hit your hero or high-tier blockers.
Wave Build Order
The paths on City of Lozagon converge into central bends before splitting again toward your exits. Do not overcommit gold to one side early; maintain balance across both paths.
- Waves 1–4: Place Level 2 Bone Flingers or Shadow Archers at the central crossroads where enemy routes intersect. Build a Level 1 Orc Warriors Den near each exit path to catch fast leakers. Station your hero on the more active route to provide supplementary basic attacks.
- Waves 5–8: Upgrade your central archer towers to Tier 4. Buy the skeleton-spawning upgrade on Bone Flingers immediately to generate a continuous stream of decoys. Place a Specters Mausoleum near the rear bend to charge possession abilities before mid-game enemy waves arrive.
- Waves 9–12: Build a Blazing Gem at the central intersection with an unobstructed view down the longest lane segment. Lock its continuous beam onto high-health magical constructs to melt them down before they reach your frontline blockers.
- Waves 13–15: Upgrade an artillery tower to unlock area-of-effect stuns or burning ground. Max out your barracks towers with invulnerability shields or armor perks. Use your global Stage Powers and Soul Impact immediately whenever clustered caster groups spawn at the edge of the map.
Neutralizing Enemy Spellcasters
Arcane Maguses and Sorcerers pose the greatest threat on Impossible difficulty. They deal high ranged magic damage that bypasses physical armor, and their hexes can polymorph defenders or disable nearby towers.
- Force melee combat: Enemy casters cannot channel ranged area-of-effect spells while locked in close combat. Drop Reinforcements or move your hero directly onto them the moment they stop along the road.
- Reposition your hero: Do not keep your hero stationary. Step laterally out of incoming line-of-fire projectiles, and advance toward backline casters while your frontline blockers hold the vanguard.
- Stagger spell interrupts: If using caster heroes such as Vez'nan, Oloch, or Mortemis, save crowd-control ultimates for wave clumps that contain support mages. Interrupting a group buff prevents entire convoys from receiving shields.
- Rotate cooldowns across lanes: When late waves push both exits at once, use global board powers on one flank and your hero's active abilities on the other to stabilize both chokes without starving either lane of defensive coverage.
