To win early campaign stages in Kings Call 2, deploy units defensively across multiple lanes based on enemy matchups, spend energy continuously to prevent capping, and keep high-durability units directly in front of your hero to block incoming damage.

Lane Control and Deployment Rules

Kings Call 2 uses a horizontal lane grid where unit placement dictates combat flow. Winning early encounters requires reacting to incoming enemy units rather than playing cards immediately upon drawing them.

• Matchup Counters: When an enemy plays a melee unit, respond in that lane with a high-health counter or a unit with an elemental advantage.
• Lane Distribution: Avoid playing all units into a single lane. Spread your forces across active lanes to prevent unblocked enemy units from reaching your hero.
• Deployment Indicators: Watch the circular deployment indicators on the battlefield to verify where units can legally be placed before dropping a card.

Energy Management and Card Cooldowns

Cards require energy to play, and energy recharges continuously during battle. Managing card cooldowns and energy generation keeps your deck cycling efficiently.
