Managing screen density early in a run requires high-damage attacks with wide hitboxes or knockback. When upgrading at a level-up prompt, choose upgrades for your established core weapons over unlocking additional low-tier attacks. High-level weapons gain valuable mechanical bonuses, such as increased projectile counts and faster attack speeds, which help maintain a defensive perimeter.

Constant movement prevents your character from getting cornered against map obstacles or wall boundaries. Circle around oncoming clusters to draw enemies into a dense line behind you. This technique maximizes the hitting efficiency of line-of-sight and wide-area attacks.

When dense enemy waves form, follow these movement priorities:

1. Avoid Map Edges: Keep your character in open areas where you can change direction freely without taking corner damage.
2. Identify Gaps: Look for openings in surrounding waves to dash through rather than trying to stand your ground.
